Smiley Posted February 14, 2016 Author Posted February 14, 2016 Not into the Marvel or superhero type films. Cannot get into them at all. Watched The Martian again last night and still thoroughly enjoyed it. Also watched "The Fear of 13". Good watch. Tough to get into for first 20-30 mins. But worth sticking with it. 7/10 Quote

Big City Girl Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 You've been watching the wrong ones then. Some have left me bothered for days! Amongst my favourites - The Ring, The Conjuring, The Orphanage, Any Omen, Eden Lake, The Others, Insidious, Paranormal Activity. If you don't like any of those, then I wouldn't bother with Horrors again. Quote

Not been that traumatised by a film since I watched The Abominable Dr. Phibes with Vincent Price. Quote

Zico Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 aye started from the begining of this lot http://marvel.com/movies/all I've seen them all bar, I think, Age Of Ultron, though I'd struggle to get myself up for it, having seen the rest (v similar) frank will prob know but why don't they include the likes of X Men, Deadpool and Spiderman in that list? The rights are owned by different film companies. The people that make the avengers films have now aquired the rights to use Spider-Man so he is now going to be in the next avengers film. Possibly the next captain America one. Edited February 18, 2016 by maje Quote

Zico Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 The Survivalist Post apocalyptic living in the woods shizzle 6/10 Quote
L/H White Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Thor Was expecting it to be the weaker one but I really enjoyed it 7.5/10 Quote

The people that make the avengers films have now aquired the rights to use Spider-Man so he is now going to be in the next avengers film. Possibly the next captain America one. Sony still have the rights for the spider-man films but when they were really skint Marvel/Disney wrote them a huge cheque so he could feature in the Civil War films. he plays quite a big role in the comic story which is one of my favourites. Turned Captain America into one of my favourite characters. The success of Guardians Of The Galaxy and Deadpool means that they're making more films around the less famous but more interesting characters. Black Panther and Captain Marvel are my highlights. Kelly-Sue Deconnick's Captain Marvel run is brilliant and hopefully what they're basing the film on. Quote
Zico Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 So were marvel skint at some point when they sold the rights to spiderman and presumably x men etc? Or did they just sell them as they weren't planning on making the films themselves? Quote

Second one, they'd made films in the past but most had been a bit poo. then with iron man/hulk they started making their own films again and when Disney bought them it kicked up a gear Quote
Pablo Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Horror films terrify me, they are really hard to wank to. Quote

Underpants Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 They did try in the 70's These superhero films don't do anything for me. I would rather watch them 70's films rather than todays. Look much more fun. Quote
Zico Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 The Ring. Excellent! Watched it when it first got released. Not been that traumatised by a film since I watched The Abominable Dr. Phibes with Vincent Price. prefer the japense original, The Wing anyway like you, Ring shit me up a bit the only other film that made me nervous in any sort of a way was the Blair Witch Project as it reminded me of camping out up rivvy near the old castle and that when was younger, and used to shit myself then as well Quote
kent_white Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 I have never seen a 'comic book' film that I'd give more than a 4/10. And they just keep on making more and more of the bastards. Quote
