Quality game that, scored right in front of us and late on as well. Loved going to Highbury, close

to the pitch and close to the home fans.

That is still my favourite Premier League away game ever. Leicester was good - but Arsenal was a real backs against the wall match - down to ten men, Jermaine Johnson making his debut. A fan lending Snoop Doggy Dog a shirt to play in, etc. Great atmosphere in the away end. Loved it.

The train home from Euston that day was a load of fun. Think there was a few who blagged 1st class on the way home

IIRC (I was pissed in my defence), they were singing "we are top of the league" when they went 1-0 up, and we sang it back to 'em after Ricketts equalised.

The good news keeps on coming

According to Mirror today,Jack Wilshere came to Bolton's team hotel to say hello to the players before the West Ham game a couple of weeks ago.

 

Proves how much Wilshere enjoyed his loan time at the Reebok.Can't remember many other players doing that .

It is going to be interesting to see how Arsenals new centre half deals with KD. I feel a red card but I dont know which way it will go.

I've still got doubts about not recalling Al Habsi who has experience of big games, rather than throwing Bogdan in at the deep end. Hopefully Ginger will be alright but it seems like a gamble we didn't need to take & as a bonus we could have caused Wiggin problems.

 

We've not won a league game at Arsenal since 1962, & i'd be happy with a point, but it looks like a good time to play there with them having a few injuries & a chumps league game next week.

There's no point trying to outpass Arsenal,so i hope we play direct to SKD & get support up to him quickly - it worked well last season till M Davies got kicked out of the game.
