Whizz Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Thanks for the offer mate. Sorted it now though. Got the missus to go up there after work.
RUREADY2ROLL Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Can you get tickets in town? 5 of us going but none of us can get to the Reebok tomorrow. Never bought tickets from town before, do they do away games? Should be a good turn out. Ordered mine today and they said only 800 sold so far
LodgeMorrWhite Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Ive not been to Wolves for a few years but have heard that it is quite difficult to get a drink in town before the match. Does anyone know of any away friendly pubs city centre. Its only me and the missus but I know it can be like stepping back in time down there.
Wulfhere Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Good to see a few old friends will be making the trip and I look forward to seeing you. To all who travel hope you have a safe journey and a good day out. On the form front we have been playing well recently without getting the results we have deserved. It was a gut wrencher losing in injury time at Old Trafford and we pretty much matched Arsenal in the week, we conceded a goal in the first minute and then in injury time when we had thrown everyone forward to get the equaliser, there goalkeeper got MoTM sats it all. We beat City match before that in the best performance by a Wolves side for a long while. I have ben impressed by your form when I have caught you this season, we are both trying to play a bit more foootball this season so who knows it may even be a decent game. Jarvis has been outstanding for us this season as have Christophe Berra, Kevin Foley and Karl Henry, Milijas has been really good in the last few games and looks like he has come to terms with the PL. Looking forward to seeing a few of you.
Widnes Two Hats Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Don't try and jump on anybody's back you big bummer
DAN BWFC Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Ive not been to Wolves for a few years but have heard that it is quite difficult to get a drink in town before the match. Does anyone know of any away friendly pubs city centre. Its only me and the missus but I know it can be like stepping back in time down there. 13 of us going - drank in town centre before and after match with no hassle last year
richbwfc Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Just got back from Uni to see my tickets have arrived
Mounts Kipper Posted November 12, 2010 Author Posted November 12, 2010 Ordered mine today and they said only 800 sold so far We really are a piss poor mickey mouse set of fans, apathetic to the extreme we don't deserve prem football or a backer like E.D.
no balls Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 We really are a piss poor mickey mouse set of fans, apathetic to the extreme we don't deserve prem football or a backer like E.D. G, do you fancy paying for my road tax & 2 back tyres? If so, iamin.
Mounts Kipper Posted November 12, 2010 Author Posted November 12, 2010 G, do you fancy paying for my road tax & 2 back tyres? If so, iamin. No but I will buy you a ticket if that helps?
Totty Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 We really are a piss poor mickey mouse set of fans, apathetic to the extreme we don't deserve prem football or a backer like E.D. its a joke if true. really thought there would be a decent turnout for this, build up talk has been promising this week with all the me+33 posts! suppose the old 'crimbo round the corner' excuse will be rolled out now were in november!.
no balls Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 No but I will buy you a ticket if that helps? Bless you. I'll keep that one in mind for future! If it's any consolation, I'm gutted not to be on what is one of my usual jolly girl's outings.
Guest Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 G, do you fancy paying for my road tax & 2 back tyres? If so, iamin. Not this G either, spent ?432 on tyres today.
Mounts Kipper Posted November 12, 2010 Author Posted November 12, 2010 In the lower divisions one year we filled the bottom tier, now we can't even fill a 1/3rd of a section behind the net I despair where BWFC is going, our backing is piss fookin poor, where is the pride in our club and town? It does not seem to exist anymore, I'm gutted.
Mounts Kipper Posted November 12, 2010 Author Posted November 12, 2010 i can't be arsed so yeah, apathy reigns That's not apathy, its middle age malaise, no doubt you will soon be leaving your clothes on Ainsdale beach.
Totty Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 more fool the stayaways - that was a belter! not that impressive numbers wise but at least we were all packed together and made a fair bit of noise! really enjoyed myself today!
Mounts Kipper Posted November 13, 2010 Author Posted November 13, 2010 Great win, for a spell before the goal it was champagne football, the locals were not happy one of there old boys followed us commentating over the phone to his mates threateniing to stab the bald bolton lad,any way I'm still alive.
SatanGreavsie Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Just back; great day out but bloody nerve wracking at the end - plus Smiffs kissed me and I shook Little Whitt's wanking hand. I feel unclean. I'm now off down the boozer to watch the fight by way of absolution
