he did a brilliant job for us for which he got very well paid.

 

his approach was innovative and gave a small club like us the chance to compete at a higher level than anyone could ever have dreamt of.

 

his analysis of the game was ahead of anyone else, his desicion to bring in certain world class player (JJ and Youri especially) amazed people and for a while we were very very good.

 

for me he became too committed to the stats side of the game almost as though he had to prove people who criticised him wrong. He truned jj from a midfield genius into a long throw machine.

 

he left because we would nt give him money to spend, he went to newcastle and showed that giving him money was nt the best idea ever.

 

what he did for the club should never be forgotten, what he did to the club when he left should also be remeemberred he took all the back office with him and then for a pile of money appearred on every programme going saying what a mess the club had become since HE (no one else just him) left.

 

I said when he left it was a bad day for us and would end up being a bad day for him, in the short term it was. Longer term it is working out nicely for us.

 

for everything he did for us i am grateful in the way when a plumber turns up and charges a load of money to do a job that i could nt do myself, he asks for cash and you get the feeling that the ?250 call out charge was too high.

 

Would any Bolton fan swap Owen Coyle for Sam ? Not knocking Sam he did what he did for us really well but we do not need a plumber any more.

Regardless of what he did or didnt do at Bolton, BSA was doing OK at Blackburn. Never one to buy his way out of trouble with the transfer market, the things he implements take time.

 

To understand even the basics of this, you need to obviously understand football but those chicken fellas look like a pair of grubby kabadi playing taxi drivers. One of them even looks like he's been rummagng around the fucking bins for bits of left over chicken. You certainly couldn't take them seriously in a football board room.

 

It really looks like Rovers have really found their level with that pair of scruffy fuckers.
