Chicken men Sack Allardyce

Featured Replies

He did a lot for us but it's probably more than true that his innovation

was because of what he did with his off the pitch process, rather than on the pitch. Defenitely

too much long ball.

The way he left us though! We were right on the edge of relegation with

one match left. What a way to abandon ship. Then immediatly joining Newcastle.

It seemed real cutthroat.

what fuckin planet are you from ?

'off the pitch process' that my friend counts for jack shit when your on it .........is my memory playing tricks Youri/Campo/stelious/Okocha

all fuckin long ball merchants to a man oh & sorry that other clogger I forgot Anelka.

He left us on the brink of relegation did he ..........really??

My recollection was that there were three matches to go away to Chelsea & West Ham & home to Villa (DLD) & guess what we qualified for Europe!!

The other question you have to ask & I know its going over old ground is , whose decision was it to let the cat out of the bag with only three games

of the season left........was it BSA himself or his ex pal chairman , our Phil who once stated that Sammy Lee was a better manager that BSA ??

It is reported that the managers of Real Madrid, Barcelona and England are now fearful for their own positions as the World's greatest manager looks for a new job.

You ferkin lot are bitter & twisted to say the least ............short memory symdrome or what ?   Anyway he may be a large media loving SOB but I for one will always be eternally grateful to hi

  • Fuck him.   I lost any respect I had for him the day he signed for Newcastle. I remember watching the interview outside his house the day he left, citing family as the reason, grandkids or whatever

don't try to re-write history

gartside said lee was better qualified to manage bolton than allardyce was when appointed

Fair point .............rewrite history on here ?

perish the thought

nobody sane claims allardyce didn't go a very, very good job for us

it would have been even better if he'd left us with a team on the up rather than on the slide

appreciating the good stuff doesn't mean you can't smile at his recent misfortunes

I know, I fucked up with the relegation part. For my memory though we were playing some

pretty terrible football from the previous January until when Sam left.

Sam's last days weren't good at all. Maybe you'e right. In hindsite maybe it wasn't just Sam's idea to leave. Perhaps it's possible Gartside or someone had something to do with

it.

ok a rueful smirk but not a hatchet job please

& 56 points and seventh position is not a team on the slide ...............that came later under different management

ok thats better it got a bit sterile at the END sure it did he was losing interest because the club would not back his growing ambition

& thats not a criticism of the board ,it was probably over the top for a club like ours we could'nt back him anymore so he decided to up sticks

he moved on we moved backwards for a while & now hopefully are in forward gear again ........so we dont need to be so bitter & negative

can we get back to the chicken puns please

We was on fire in Sams last season up until New Years against Liverpool, we won 5 in a row over Christmas and was in the Champions League places, we only went on to win a few more from Jan to May, from going from Champions League, we almost didn't even get a UEFA cup place. I think Kanu missed a sitter in the Pompey game from like a yard on the last day which meant our 2-2 draw with Villa was just enough.

Summat happened around the time of the Liverpool game/Jan, some blame Gartside for not giving Sam any funds and Sam lost his spirit, some say it was because he wanted the England job, some say Sam had an affair with Gartside's wife. From Jan 2007 to the end of Megson the club had taken a very dramatic decline. The results between August and the end of December got us europe, the last 4 months under Sam was pretty much relegation/near the bottom form.

can we get back to the chicken puns please

I decided to lay off them as I prefer to ruffle a few feathers to be honest.

Chicken biggle.

Chicken biggle.

Am I missing something here?

can we get back to the chicken puns please

It's not often I agree with yon Winwick fucker, but in this case he's surprisingly accurate in his assertions - 16 points in the 15 games of Sam's last calendar year with us. Nowt to shout about, and certainly nowt to use as back up to the insulting broadsides he aimed at fans, many of whom had stood by him after Panorama had hurled some rather more serious accusations in his direction earlier in the season (prompted, in no small part, let's not forget, by the actions of his son).

Aye, he insulted us "naive" fans.

This article has been referred to already in the Lacs Evewning Telegraph, but this is section is beltin:

The prophet Mobighead

Before the match:

?I felt if it was right for me, I would be ultimately 100 per cent selfish and leave.

?From that day on, there?s only been Newcastle which has been a short abrupt spell which came and went and everywhere else I?ve been it?s me that has left because I felt it was the right time for me and every club I left was better than when I took over.

?The disappointment might be for them but that?s life, but they do more sackings than managers leave so I always have a selfish outlook on that situation.

?When it?s my time it?s my time and I will decide my fate and that has kept me in this job for however long I?ve been doing it for.

?I?m a survivor and the length of time I?ve been doing this job shows how long you can last if you do the job right.?

I can't fault what he did for Bolton, but the way he left was appalling. Then he was on Telly saying he was on a sabbatical, them he was a pundit one Sunday evening a few days afterwards sporting a black and white striped tie. In the next few days he was announced as the maggots boss. He was going there before he left us. He then decided to rape us of our back room staff and left us with next to fuck all. Ever since he had taken great pleasure in ripping us as you saw with his stupid fuckin dance on Sunday. I for one have no sympathy or resect left for him whatsoever an hope he never manages again tbh. Unfortunately his double pay offs will see him sitting pretty so he won't suffer as if it was the average Joe bloggs. I once tried speaking to him at an event and found him an ignorant and arrogant person who looked down on anyone not involved in football or wearing gucci or Armani. We made him but he seems to have forgotten. Whinge over.

I wish (bone) FSA well in his next position. He has complained that it was a fowl way to leave Blackburn in such a curry. He is vindaloigated in his style of man management and kept Blackburn up when they could have easily gone down last season. He will poulet all together and pick up where he left on the run and to coup it all he will get a good roasting later for leaving his chicken tonight.

Allardyce did a good job for us but he didnt really give a fuck about us and has shown us no respect at all. Lets not forget he was nowhere when we picked him up so we did him as much good as he did us. The way he celebrated on Sunday showed how much respect he had for us, im glad we put the final nail in his coffin. I hope to god Coyle gets us into europe at some point just to show fatty how a man with class runs a club. Do we think he will flop his trumpet out and blow it if he does? I doubt it.

He is a cunt as a bloke

He wrote to Marple white once calling him a coward

Which may be true :D but Allardyce is still a cunt!

I have never had the fortune/misfortune to meet BSA, but its always disappointing to hear reports that players and managers at Bolton have been rude and arrogant to the fans. However, as a manager of Bolton Wanderers BSA did an amazing job. I have posted it on here before but he took us up, he kept us up and he took us into Europe for the first time in our history.

He did get to big for his boots, and the manner of his departure was very poor, but I still cant hate the guy because he achieved a hell of a lot with Bolton Wanderers.

Happy, you had the chance, at the end of your third sentence, to say they could have gone down at the end of last seasoning. You really must learn to proof-read your posts. If you'd chicked it properly you'd have noticed the opportunity.

Of course, as they say in Blackburn, when you get what's coming to you, FSA's sacking is korma.
