Thanks again for all your support Tweet from Stuart above Just hope the little man gets back in the next two weeks; we need him more than anybody else in the squad (centre halves close though) Edited March 20, 201115 yr by RUREADY2ROLL
March 20, 201115 yr hope hes ok , need the spine of the team ready for wembley and end of the season run in
March 20, 201115 yr Author 26 Stitches according to US football sources -ouch! Also said that X-rays revealed no broken bones.
March 20, 201115 yr No game next week and I would maybe rest him the week after to ensure the gash heals. As long as this is the ony damage we should see him ready for West Ham.

Remember cutting my knee open similar to Holdens in the same place, took about 2 weeks to heal and then i wasn't able to play football or anything like that for another 2 weeks after the stitches had been taken out. Probably wont be seeing Holden playing up until the semi-final, devastated, he's class and will be hugely missed.

March 20, 201115 yr his medical support might be better than widely available? Was just going to say the same. It's like when you or me pull a hamstring, we would be out for ages but pros have all the best treatment to come back quicker.
March 20, 201115 yr his medical support might be better than widely available? indeedy his 26 stitches is probably a good dozen more than a peasant would get the wound looked very much like nanis to me if its just the cut and no ligament damage its a result
March 20, 201115 yr his medical support might be better than widely available? Hopefully that might be the case! Is there anyway they can speed up the healing of a gash? Might not be that deep either, mine was through to the bone as i slid over a brick sticking out in the ground.
March 20, 201115 yr I saw the gash on the tv and it looked more than just a cut. I really hope I'm wrong but it could be much worse than people think. Did it show it on the highlights because I've not seen any photos in the papers.

March 20, 201115 yr I read this earlier - "American international Stuart Holden has just been the victim of an awful two-footed tackle by Manchester United centre back Johnny Evans that saw the defender lunge for a 50-50 ball and dive straight onto the midfielder's knee. It looks like a nasty injury, and Holden was subsequently stretchered off the pitch. After making sure that the 25 year-old was alright, Andre Marriner turned around and showed Evans a straight red - a totally and utterly deserved red, too. It's unclear just how badly Holden is injured - there was a nasty cut on his knee and a lot of blood but very little to suggest ligament damage or anything of the like. Nevertheless, it's a really unfortunate blow for the Bolton man." Let's hope so.
March 20, 201115 yr indeedy his 26 stitches is probably a good dozen more than a peasant would get the wound looked very much like nanis to me if its just the cut and no ligament damage its a result how long until he can move properly though. im sure he'll be reet in 4 weeks. but how about for brum game?
March 20, 201115 yr Is there anyway they can speed up the healing of a gash? Fuckin easy that one, my wife's healed up as soon as we got wed.
March 20, 201115 yr Fuckin easy that one, my wife's healed up as soon as we got wed. Having seen the challenge a few times. I'm undecided if it was a sending off or not. Hope he's back soon, been our most consistent player this season. USA USA USA Edited March 20, 201115 yr by bwfcryan86
March 20, 201115 yr He just tweeted to say it's bad news and will speak tomorrow. Must be ligament damage. Bad bad news
March 21, 201115 yr Dirty Munich Cunt He should get what he deserves if we lose our main man for the rest of the season
