I seem to recall a slice of Pizza with Jacket Potato and Coleslaw being the order of the day!

What about the Aussie themed place Cas mentioned? Did it exist??

Oh, Red Lion in Hawkshaw has reopened after renovation. Quite smart. JW Lees owned.

Yeh, about 92/93, can't remember the name, gotta be Walkabout or summut.

The old man used to have a stall on Bolton market doing football hats scarves and Badges(also did outside Burnden 90's), used to work with him Saturdays and on school holidays. Used to go to a place called Rice n Three near the market that was unbelievable. That place still going?

Hardly been to Bolton Town Centre since the move to Fortress Reebok, old fella finished on the market not long after the move.

I think that Orignally Pizzaland was on the other side of the road, then moved into that building ... wasn't Burger King in there to start with???

Yes correct it moved across the road late 80's and became Pizzahut eventually, but was on same side as Ratners before that.

Thought I was cool as fuck having Pizza and a baked spud. Wish I could remember what the dark haired waitress was called though

Til they pull it down to build the bus station.

They're hardly rushing to crack on with that, are they?

Besides, there's another Rice n Three on Deane Road, just up from College Way.
