Now We Are A Top Ten Club

Tight run in for the bottom 10 clubs; not looking good for the bottom three clubs. So who do you think will be playing in the Championship next season.

Looking at the run in games its going to be very close. I am going for Pieman, Seasiders for sure and the last place between Blackburn and West Ham. Blackburn have two fixtures that could determine their fate - West Ham away and US.

Its nice not to be worrying about relegation and thinking about winning cups :pardon:

Who do you think will go down

I'd like Wolves,West Ham and Birmingham to go.

I hope Blackpool Wiggin and Blackburn stay up.

I have always thought Wolves will go and after watching MOTD last night they confrimed it. They just cannot defend and lack goal scorers.

The above applies to the Piemen who are also bloody awful

The last place could be anyone from 6 or 7 teams but I think WHU will go as like the two above they can't defend.

Hopefully I'm right especially with WHU who will then sell all their best players and if a few years will end up playing Sunday football on Hackney Marshes.

Wigan will go. Then im struggling, they all have to play eachother &/or teams from the top 8 ish. It'll be very tight.

Wigan, Blackburn & West Ham.

Blackpool, Everton and West Ham.

Everton down before February and then deducted 10 points for having a shite ground full of pick pockets :yahoo:

I would actually want that !

I want the to go down, just once in my lifetime, just to see what it feels like !

You aren't a proper scouser if you haven't been sent down!

Wigin wolves and Blackpool

Wigan will get out.

Westham, wolves and Blackpool down

Did that predictor thing on BBC and it came out with Wiggin, Blackpool and Blackburn. Wasn't being biased I didn't think! Anyway after seeing Wolves and West Ham yesterday not so sure now.

Whoever loses in Blackpool v Wigan next weekend will go down.

Wolves have got winnable remaining fixtures (Fulham Stoke Sunderland Birmingham West Brom Blackburn) but without Doyle I can't see them scoring many.

I'll go for Blackpool, Wolves, West Ham.

Just done all the results via the BBC table predictor, that comes out as:

18th: Wolves

19th: Wigan

20th: Blackpool

- Blackburn to escape by a point. Blackpool's run-in is a 'mare.

I have us down as 7th, ahead of Everton.

Somehow I think one club going down will get near Sheffield United's record of going down with 42 points.

Sunderland, West Ham or Blackburn may be the lucky team.

Wigan will get out.

Westham, wolves and Blackpool down

Cant see wigan getting close to surviving I think they only have 2 home games left.

Cant understand why people want teams from the N W going down.

Wolves, Villa & West Ham please

I agree with you on the not wanting NW teams to go down,

anyway - Wolves, Brum and West Ham for me

I'd like Wolves,West Ham and Birmingham to go.

I am sure the mrs will let you have a go

I want villa to go but fear this result will save them

The current bottom three wouldn't be Dissapointing.

Well at least the bottom 4 teams all lost this weekend. Currently it's still possible to go down with 49 points, although that will drop somewhat.

Blackburn do have dodgy fixtures (home to Bolton and both Manc clubs, away to Everton, West Ham and Wolves) so they might struggle to reach even 42.

But best of all is if Liverpool stay on 45....

[in 1909 Liverpool were 4th of 20 at end of February and only escaped relegation on final day (30 April) by getting a point (won by only goal) at champions Newcastle. Newcastle had played at Blackburn on 24th, Villa on 26th, the following seasons Charity Cup(!) at Stamford Bridge on 28th, before hosting Liverpool on 30th.

Man City were 'top' on 1st September, 7th at end of December, 17th on playing their last match 28 April, and 19th of 20 2 days later. Bradford City were 19th/20th from 3rd October to 29th April but escaped. 20 teams, 2 points for a win, 2 up/down, but even more volatile than this season!]

I'll say Wolves, West Ham and Blackburn.
