Regarding Jeffren, Our representatives are in Barca today to try and negotiate a deal for him. As I said before, our offer has been accepted by Barca and they want him off their books. From what I've heard though, Jeffren is holding out for a move to Liverpool, after reported intrest from them and have offered ?4m which doesnt meet Barca's valuation but until they up their offer they won't get permission to speak to him. We're basically his last option if no other clubs come in for him so unless any other teams match our bid Barca may force him out. I wouldn't hold much hope though.

I can't see liverpool buying anymore attacking midfielders. Downing, Adam and Henderson added to what they already have is more than enough. Downing plays pretty much the same position as Jeffren so can't see why Liverpool would need him.

What is your point? a club's age/heritage/history for me won't have any bearing on a players decision. I can't think why if it did.

 

Not important anyway, Rembrant makes some good points, though if we actually beat Stoke or didn't give up in April we could have got Europe and give more incentive to players.

What more could a young man want.

To play at a bigger club, with bigger attendances and to play with better players, though he'd enjoy playing with Holden, Lee and M.Davies.
