keithbwfc Posted July 3, 2011 Author Posted July 3, 2011 I am the resident QoS fan i like their ground, in fact i quite like dumfries Quote
jazza Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 It's a proper ground. the biggest terracing left in Scotland is the Portland Road end. I haven't been up for a while but am missing my football so am going to Gretna on Tuesday night to watch a friendly, I live North of Carlisle so it's only up the road for me. Dumfries is a nice enough place to visit but the town centre is knackered. Every second shop is a charity shop or shut down. The pubs are decent though!! Quote
keithbwfc Posted July 3, 2011 Author Posted July 3, 2011 every scottish town center with the exeption of edinburgh are run down, i'll always remember sitting in the away end at palmerston park when we came back from three down to draw three all to keep up our 20 odd game unbeaten run singing we are unbeatable'. happy days indeed Quote
