Obviously not good enough

I'm taking that as we have another striker lined up!

Probably the young guy from Motherwell

Yup, if he aint good enough now he never will be.

Like Jon Walters?

Not bothered in the slightest

That's a quick change of plan.

I thought OC said only the other day that he'd assess Ward on the club's tour to the USA starting this week ?

What I have seen of him I dont believe he is good enough for the prem but will be a good signing for Huddersfield.

When are we going to bring some quality in?

As I've posted elsewhere we've given Tope Obadeye an extra year

The Uddersfield fans are wanking themselves off with excitement.

We were promised young, exciting English players. We got some lazy, old Bulgarian cunt and Robbie Blake and our youth players sold. Owen Coyle is a liar, even if this turns out to be good business.

6 figure sum?

I reckon it will be closer to 100k than 900k

Deal worth upto 1 mill, I bet there's no more than 400k paid upfront

Like Jazza said, Tope Obadeye has got another year on his contract but Ward who seems to have done well everywhere he's been is off.. I don't get it but I suspect it won't play that big a part in the season

fucking joke...

Whilst I don't think Ward would have played any part next season surely it was worth giving him another loan somewhere to see how he progresses?

Coyle's claims of giving young players a chance aren't stacking up. Can't understand keeping Tope on either!

Well, if he's prepared to compromise on that, maybe we'll be more pragmatic away from home next season

I know it's only 1, but Mark Davies fits that bill. Either way I couldn't give a shiny shite if our new players are young or English as long as they're any bloody good. Not sure I understand the logic in extending Blake's contract, or Tope's for that matter.

Obadeye, another Vas Te IMO.

I don't really don't care but he said that was the plan, and it wasn't. Mark Davies was signed by Mystic Meggo.

At the moment, we are acting like a club in trouble, keeping players with no value, selling those with.

Really? Didn't we offload a few fringe players at the end of the season when their contracts expired? They didn't have any real value to the club and we've freed up their wages to spend elsewhere.

Neither Ward nor Al Habsi would have been first choice next season so why not sell them to raise some money to strengthen the team?

Giving young players a chance means giving them a chance because they're good enough, not because they're young enough.

Agree with your logic but what about Blake and Tope; surely they should have been shown the door as well.

What is concerning is there is nobody coming in our direction; everyone has gone to Florida so who is making bids for the quality players we obviously need?

Only really seen him play on TV.

Shame he hasn't made it, but if he was premier league class he wouldn't be moving to a league 1 club.

Hope we have a small sell on clause though as insurance.

What about Tom Eaves, he's English
