chillo Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 we had two wingers who dont use pace or run with the ball into space which would be ok if we had full backs bombing on the overlap but we dont seriously even if robinson could would he do an overlap and really think that petrov would sit in for him and do his running back (not a chance)of that happening if we lose possesion
SatanGreavsie Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Not long back Load of wank Going to drink heavily
onefinfrandsen Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 The only bright spots for me today were nrc man of the match for me and should be captain, never thought id say that as never really rated him. boyatta looked ok and will get better, ngog when match fit could do well, looked promising today. the defence needs sorting they look like they have never played together before ,jussi and knight need droping. coyle got his tactics wrong today he thought he could bully norwich by hoofing the ball up to kd, 2 years ago it might have worked
HomerJay Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Drop jussi...for bogdan? Nothing against bogdan but that would be suicidal
onefinfrandsen Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Drop jussi...for bogdan? Nothing against bogdan but that would be suicidal why
LiOC Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Not sure I'm keen on Bogdan in for Jussi. But he should get his chance to put pressure on him against Aston Villa. He's said he wants to challenge for the number 1 spot, so a good performance will either give us a new option for keeper, or give Jussi a wake-up call.
HomerJay Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 why Young, inexperienced, no defence in front of him. Could totally ruin him.
Casino Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 jussi was as good today as he's ever been anybody saying he played badly is a fcuking sheep
onefinfrandsen Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 could give the defence confidence to have a confident, inspiring keeper behind them instead of jussi moaning all the time. did any body see jussi stick the vs up to someone in the crowd , heard it on gmr on the way home.
SnoopJohnnyJohn Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 jussi was as good today as he's ever been anybody saying he played badly is a fcuking sheep Agreed (and I know that's rare) Jussi did nothing wrong today and was very close to saving the two goals, both of which he had no chance with. - The first half today was complete submission, not one shot (on or off target), not one corner and very little possession. - The second half we did ok, and if we'd shown half of that fight in the first half we'd have won this game hands down. - Norwich were bad, we were worse. I actually thought Knight wasn't too bad today. Pratley was decent, but I agree with whoever said that he should be playing off the front rather than digging deep. The worst players were Tuncay (not a right winger by ANY stretch of the imagination), Klasnic (silly sod has just opened the door for a Davies/Ngog partnership for the rest of the season) and Davies (once again, VERY ineffectual). I know it's "cool" to bash Coyle now, but I think the choices he made at half time were the right choices (Ngog far more mobile than Davies and Eagles to hopefully replace the misfiring Tuncay) and we did get a much improved performance in the second half, with only 10 men.
onefinfrandsen Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 jussi was as good today as he's ever been anybody saying he played badly is a fcuking sheep Bah, should have been droped weeks ago. him and knight are a liability

Jeebster Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 (edited) jussi was as good today as he's ever been anybody saying he played badly is a fcuking sheep And you are who exactly ? I don't normally post on here but I do read from time to time - and you are so fecking arrogant (the arse door comment on the other thread typifies that)in response to a fan who has obviously followed the whites with passion for many a year. I must be a sheep then - your comments re Jaaskelainen are a absolute joke - he's a liability and has been for the past 2 years, constantly glued to his line week in week out - years ago he'd have actually moved of his line and rushed towards the player and spread himself to block the shot - but these days he can't be arsed. But of course you know better because you've played football at what level ? Edited September 17, 2011 by Jeebster
matty2094 Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 People were giving their 2 cents, he was attempting to tell them to get behind the team which wasn't for happening today.
roybarker Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Drop jussi...for bogdan? Nothing against bogdan but that would be suicidal agree can anyone tell me the point of 11 men in the penalty area when the opposition gets free headers to score for f-----ks sake will someone tell coyle to leave men up for an outball
Guest Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 agree can anyone tell me the point of 11 men in the penalty area when the opposition gets free headers to score for f-----ks sake will someone tell coyle to leave men up for an outball He won't do it; too stubborn Apparently more chance of not conceding with more players back Didn't work today
Guest bwfcdan Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Jussi's been a liability for the last two years? Do behave!! Utter bollocks!!

Rembrandt Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 People were giving their 2 cents, he was attempting to tell them to get behind the team which wasn't for happening today. We had a team in that first-half, Matty ? I think you're using the word very very loosely.
Happy Wanderer Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 The players have to take some responsibility and look at themselves in a mirror.... I hate to say this but I'm losing confidence in OC, his tactics, team selection... You can't doubt his enthusiasm but it's all too naive for me. I really, really fear the worst, let's hope I'm wrong but with Arsenal away for the next game I think we'll get another tanking.
Casino Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 I must be a sheep then baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Arnold Jackson Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 (edited) baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa There was another moment of comedy 'keystone cops' style play between Juss and Knight [ was it? ] ... and it does happen a bit too often for me. Also you hear a lot of shouting for Jussi to roll the ball out earlier instead of holding onto it and pumping it long... not sure if this is anything to do with orders from manager, but I was hoping we could try to catch them unawares with this 'quick break' tactic as we were naive and vulnerable to it having just come from the Championship Edited September 17, 2011 by Arnold Jackson
