HomerJay Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_7220102,00.html While we might not be expected to beat the top teams, we need to compete. It's becoming more difficult but the manner of the defeats haven't been good enough
Zico Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 following on from NRC and Zat Knight saying exactly the same one got praised, one got slated wonder which way this one will go
tyldesley_white Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 following on from NRC and Zat Knight saying exactly the same one got praised, one got slated wonder which way this one will go Well hes the Captin, do something about it or hand the armband to some else
HR Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Skd looked much sharper yesterday thankfully. Looked like he hadn't been rapid fire power wanking in the warm up.
tylswhite Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 following on from NRC and Zat Knight saying exactly the same one got praised, one got slated wonder which way this one will go Apart from the fact Knight said we arent taking it seriously enough which is a fucking joke coming from the player who has fucked up most! Its like the laziest cunt at work saying we arent working hard enough, its just cheeky as fook.
only1swanny Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Clearly not knight causing the problems as without him we still let in four.
tylswhite Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Clearly not knight causing the problems as without him we still let in four. He obviously isnt causing all the problems but he is a big part of the defence being dogshit. Lets be honest 2 of the goals were practically thrown in by Bogdan. Look at every game Zat Knight has played this season and its fuck up after fuck up, other people fuck up too but he is number one imo.

HomerJay Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 I thought knight played really well when he came on
SnoopJohnnyJohn Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I thought knight played really well when he came on Thank you! I'm glad someone else noticed that. Maybe that was the little kick up the ass he needed over the last couple of games?
Underpants Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 following on from NRC and Zat Knight saying exactly the same one got praised, one got slated wonder which way this one will go if I read another artical from a player, manager or coach that goes along the lines of Stepping Up To The Plate, Mistakes Have got To Be Cut Out or Tough Start To The Season.... I will kick my chaise longue across the fecking study. Every fecker should be on the fecking plate swinging. Every fecker should look at their fecking self and sort out their fecking mistakes instead of calling it a fecking team problem. And every fecker in this league plays every other fecker twice in fecking 9 months. From the manager down every fecker has to grow some fecking balls and take some fecking responsibility instead of paying us fecking lip service.

Oh, Undies ........... much better phrased than I could have. Maybe it's coz I don't have a chaise longue, or even a study. Should be posted on the dressing room walls in massive sized print.

Until he gets his starting place back then he'll revert back to normal. Basically the whole defence, nearly, is shit, but hey ho when we had transfer discussions in the summer defenfers werent a priority * * for the record they were for me as the current ones are fucking awful - especially the full backs Edited October 4, 2011 by tarian1979

frank_spencer Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I don't think Big Zat is that bad a defender for 95% of the game, its just for that other 5% where his mistakes kick in we may as well play Steven Hawkin minus his wheelchair.

Casino Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 i hate to have to agree with you, but you are correct unfortunately some folk think we can afford to just keep on buying players til we get it right unfortunately, it doesn't work like that we have actually added 4 defenders under coyle 1 is injured and two aren't good enough to oust 'the shit' we already had...t'other one aint too spakling just yet its the quality of players hes bought, not the number of them that is in question when fit, we have about 10 defenders for 4 places and don't forget, this shit defence of ours, had us in the top 6 in the league, last year we've lost our best midfielder, our two best wide midfielders and our two goalscorers in the last 6 months and somebody wants us buying more defenders
jules_darby Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 The quality of purchases is a big thing for me all over the pitch Why 2 Championship players in Pratley and Eagles for example - we don't need that many numbers as even with Holden and CYL out we have many midfielders baring in mind Muamba and M Davies didn't even start on Sunday and neither did Tuncay We can't do much about it now though so it's about getting the best out of them, so that means Preparation Organisation Motivation A plan (or two) and importantly Execution

Bringing loads of players but generally shite. Plus zero cohesion/organisation means we're in trouble. Only player I rate that he brought is NRC. We needed Holden back not only as it's Holden but the whole place needs a lift.
Casino Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 (edited) we do have substandard players some of taht is the market he's shiopping in i'll give him all that but i think a core of jussi cahill, wheater nrc, muamba ngog shouldn't leave us far off it worries me he doesn't see it Edited October 4, 2011 by Casino
Rembrandt Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 it worries me he doesn't see it It's interesting a lot of us are worried about what OC isn't seeing .......... what do we think he IS seeing ?
