Matt Lofthouse
No but following his elevation to cult hero by some following his debut he wasn't quite so lauded by the masses after WBA. I don?t think for one minute people were elevating him to cult hero as you put it, just that he was such a welcome boost to the squad during what had become such an important game to us. To make his debut in a 5-0 victory then get subbed for a standing ovation was great to see. Anyway we don?t like stuff like that, lets boo him if he plays on Sunday and let him know we now think he?s shit.
Juan.Kerr
Riley was by no means the worst offender against WBA. So that's a good game and a not too bad game, let's give him 'til Christmas(where have I heard that before ?).
Site Supporter HomerJay Posted November 22, 2011 Site Supporter Share Posted November 22, 2011 Well he didn't track the runner for the 1st goal and didn't get close enough to stop the the cross for the 2nd Too early for him IMO, needs to be used sparingly and not in a struggling team. I?m pretty sure that would of been OCs plan before losing Mears, Steinsson, Boyata and Ricketts (already injured). So who exactly should we use right now? Site Supporter HomerJay Posted November 23, 2011 Site Supporter Share Posted November 23, 2011 steinnson. maybe with a run of games rather than a couple here and there, he may get some form back. a back 4 needs to play week in, week out together.
