i cant even begin to describe what i have seen today. Starting with Kevin davies immediately puts us on the back foot, we hand ourselves our own disadvantage from the word go and might as well start with 10 players.

 

442 makes us all look like statues, no movement what so ever, and our ability to get a foot in on the second ball floats up and out the ground along with the wigan fans flare smoke.

I agree with all the criticisms of Coyle but Wheater should be making enough of a challenge to stop them scoring.

Wheater was shocking today both defensivly and with his distribution.

 

It would have been good for him to have 3 men in the centre in front of them to take the pressure off though

Walked the three miles back from the Reebok to give myself some time to cool off - no mean feat at my age.

 

Not a new thought, I know, but either Coyle's job is to take us down this season or he's well placed in the medium-sized table of our worst ever managers.

 

If he's really trying to keep us up then he's tactically inept, stubborn beyond belief, addicted to 442, and never examines the evidence in front of him. There's a fookin massive pachyderm in the room, and he doesn't even know what one is.

 

He's had masses of goodwill as an ex-player and for not being the previous manager, and he's p*ssed it all way. Only one answer - remove him. And if ED/PG don't do that, then they're happy for us to go down. No other club would have let any other manager survive this long in this situation.

Agreed. I was just responding to the question. It's the fact that he believes we deserved something from the game that I find so unbelievable. Plus there were poor performances all over the pitch today, I'm not that comfortable with him putting the loss down to individual player error when we all know that the biggest problem is the one he created with his selection. I have basically lost absolutely all confidence in the man. He shows absolutely no signs of learning from his mistakes and his post match bullshit is now really pissing me off.
