February 8, 201214 yr Its now been a full week with it and its seriously pissing me off! Had to cancel trip to London, meetings & have time off work. Anyone else ever suffered from this? How long 'til normal sight returns?

February 8, 201214 yr usually takes me a few days but the first two im blind for about an hour in the mornings. I once had it 2/3 weeks because i caught it again twice. Try not rubbing your eyes for the next few weeks.
February 9, 201214 yr try rinsing your eyes with sterile water twice a day and get some eye drops to stop your eyes from getting dry and sticky

February 9, 201214 yr I got some cream from the GP that I had to put in my eyes about 5 times a day (it's a few years ago now), got better (well stopped being paibful) after about 3 days , and it was a week before I got back to normal

And driving at night is a no-no. Now on steroids trying to get my sight back in my right eye. But not being one to moan........

Adenoviruses are a group of viruses which infect the membranes of tthe respiratory tract, eyes, intestines and urinary tract. It goes on to say that most of the complaints come from people using DW sports at Burnden. A spokesman for DW sports says there is no evidence blah blah blah.

I last went there a week or so before I knew I had it. Not sure what time lapses between contracting it & the symptoms appearing. But I do know 2 other people who have now got it & both use DW.
