no balls Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I don't think they've been forgotten about, but I agree they were being talked about as "greatest ever players" at certain points in their career. I think Luis Figo also falls into this bracket as well. All of them greatplayers, but not a patch on Messi in my opinion Not since he's started peddling that filth on the tv! Wanker! Quote
Juan.Kerr Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Zidane, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho haven't been forgotten about at all, they are names that are now still mentioned when you talk about football greats, You really think Messi in a few years time will be forgotten about, is that because he'll all of a sudden lose all his ability and end up playing in some Z league down in Angola or summat? Messi has an awful lot going for him to help him out?? football is a team game, no player would be a great without other players, yes both Messi and Maradona have scored great solo goals, but without other players, you wouldn't get opposition running elsewhere covering other players runs, which create space. As for my goalkeeping thing, I'm just saying it wasn't like Messi didn't play well, it was just he didn't beat the keeper, he still found himself in goalscoring positions like he does for Barca, but he didn't manage to score at that time, Argentina v Nigeria, Messi could have scored 5 +, he didn't. doesn't mean he didn't perform, but because he scores for fun, I think people judge him on just his goals at times. His overall game was excellent, though I do agree, he does it more for club. I did that loads of times. Not for Barca mind. Quote

Carlos Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Argentina and Brazil play in friendlies every other week, usually in Dubia and such places. Brazil's defending is that high up the pitch it, it looks like a training match. Quote

barryk32 Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Last one was alright, I'd have finished the other two. Hardly worth wanking yourself to death over. Quote
