January 6Jan 6 Author That was harsh out there today. Went from -3 and frozen pipes to working in a full blown storm. Some bad shit on the way too. Couldn't be any more January if it tried.

January 7Jan 7 Didn't expect to see snow in Charente Maritime, but woke up to 4 inches of it yesterday. First time since 2008 qpparently. Absolutely fucking beautiful everywhere. Our little dog ended up looking like a snowball, but he loved it.

January 9Jan 9 Still here. Shall be interesting to see what daylight brings. Don’t think it was as bad as warnings made out but I do wonder if they uprated them to keep idiots away from coasts after the recent deaths. The storm got going same time as high tide
