It's been relentless, still on yellow warning. 

No wind so it's not shifting.

That was harsh out there today. Went from -3 and frozen pipes to working in a full blown storm.

Some bad shit on the way too.

Couldn't be any more January if it tried.

This recent cold, clear weather has been fantastic.

A bit less muddy out there, fresh air and good for the soul.

 

Didn't expect to see snow in Charente Maritime, but woke up to 4 inches of it yesterday. First time since 2008 qpparently.

Absolutely fucking beautiful everywhere. 

Our little dog ended up looking like a snowball, but he loved it.

Charente Maritime is a beautiful part of the world and yes, snow is rare in an area with 300+ days of sun per year.

Don’t think it was as bad as warnings made out but I do wonder if they uprated them to keep idiots away from coasts after the recent deaths. The storm got going same time as high tide
