You've just murdered your poor lawn in its infancy.

I saw a bumble bee yesterday dying on the floor.

It's been in my van since then and is still slowly crawling about.

I'll keep it safe till Muslim Polar Express Vortex has gone.

Apparently a tea spoon of water with some sugar in it revives them. It'll probably fly up your shorts and sting your cock while you're driving though.

years ago I read about a technique where you get in the bath, and stick the tip of your erect cock out of the water, so your bellend is above water

then you pull the wings off a blue bell, and place it on your bell end

it just hops around, can't fly off, won't go in the water and is meant to feel very nice

apparently

That's a bit from a Ricky Gervais stand up show. Can't remember which one.

Edit: Found it. It was from 'Animals'.

Kin ell

That was staple viewing with mates back in my stoner days

But I would never have recalled it from being from animals

Probably because I was stoned when I watched it

Nice one

Fucking pissing it down again now. Garden is like a fucking swamp.

Even if I was minded to mow mine I couldn't get on it, constantly waterlogged, water table as high as I've known since moving over here. Just trying to aerate it as much as possible for the time being

Very much the problem now.

Even walking on it can be damaging.

When you can, consider spiking and application of top dressing.

Get it down to the root zone, and rake level.

Moss killer and scarification too. Makes huge difference.

Fix a mixer to one of those fan boats they use in Florida

Arctic geese are offskis this morning. First batch spotted across Fleetwood golf course off up north via probably the Highlands.

Managed to get off first base and give it a good spiking today

What do you use to scarify? Borrowed a bladed scarifier last year and tore loads of roots up with the thatch. Tempted to go back to a firm rake and double pass in this wet weather

@gonzo this sounds like something you hear outside your hotels on a Monday morning.

Don't do it whilst it's wet!

If you're using a machine (petrol) be very careful. Don't go too deep initially. They will remove some grass as well, but judicious use and care afterwards will reap the rewards.

A springtine rake is the traditional way- not a stiff one!

Tiring, and leaves your arms aching, but a decent work out.

Is this a leaked email from the Epstein files?

Flocks flying back from Iceland are common up here this time of year. Love it. The noise, the synchronicity, the reminder that winter is on it's way out.

Brings you back down in a world going mad.

Beautiful down here the last couple of days. Today super odd, really warm and then a freezing mist rolled in. Plants doing well though from the bulbs last year and lots of good weeding to be done with the soil being still damp.

Bought some new established plants, and weeding again this weekend for putting the veg in at the end of the month.
