Enjoyed a couple of weeks that way once, and frequently visit the Wales/England border area.

I reckon any area that has a good level of agriculture in it seems to have a slower pace of life.

Can't grow a spud, or raise a cow overnight!

Retirement probably helps the "slower pace of life" bit.

Think @Smiley is also burning bungalows down as we speak.

Clacton? I know its down south but couldn't point that place on a map.

Cornwall/Devon & occasionally London are the only places I've visited past Brum in England.

Deffo had more of cold snap early doors. Sure it was just storms at this point last year.

Proper iced up here this morning. Anti-freeze in the bucket.

Turns on a six pence later mind, switches to south wind bringing rain.

The crossover could bring a whiff of the white stuff...
