Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Cloud cover looks like cumulus to me, but the steady breeze is blowing them apart.

Sunshine predicted this afternoon if not earlier.

Deffo no low lying dense stuff.

Excellent, should be okay then. Cheers pal!

We happen to be in Blackpool today so the airshow is an added bonus, the Typhoon at just past 2 should be good. Tis blustery though!

En route. Where's best place to park?

I just follow the road straight on at the end of the motorway, going past the football stadium right to the end and park up in one of the car parks next to Coral Island. Costs a fucking fortune and at this time will be busy, was filling up when we arrived at half 9.

If you want free parking close to the prom there's plenty of streets behind the imperial hotel that are non permit holder etc.

Your car will probably on fire when you get back but you'll save £3.

100% sure It's going to be cracking flags on Wednesday???????? ????✈️✈️✈️????☀️☀️☀️????

We went to Blackpool last night after the match to show my sons new wife ( from Tennessee) the delights of fish and chips on the prom. The Red Arrows flew overhead, red, white and blue smoke trails as well, presumably on a practice run.

She was pretty impressed with it all.

I hope you told her that happens everyday

Off to some tattoo festival in Scotland apparently, then back to Blackpool at 4pm tomorrow if you missed them today.

They had to cancel some plane called thumper because of the wind today.

Clear as a bell Sunday mate.

This bit of low pressure crap will blow out this week. Says cloudy on bbc but Rising temps will shift high level cloud by mid afternoon. Always burns it off when it's over 18c and its high cloud.

Bang on the money mate. Was worried early morning but the cloud soon shifted.

Gutted the memorial flight couldn't fly but fuck me it was gusting. Fair play to those pilots flying nose to tail in that shit I was struggling to eat my Mr Whippy.

My ginger Mrs has been caught out by that wind.

Shes like a fucking beetroot!

Great watching the typhoon.

Caught me a bit with that wind too.

Where the fuck has this rain come from? I've got home to wet cushions in my lady garden! Fumin!

I've been outside for the last two days and my head is like a malteser. I love nice weather I do.

A damp lady garden.

Date went well then?

Ditto, went walking on the coastal path, sunny and windy, a few days ago. Now my head favours a leper's elbow.
