Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Talking to step-daughters father-in-law tonight. He's got a caravan on the Fylde Coast. He drove back from it today after spending the weekend there

He genuinely said that it was a bit odd this morning as "the geese were flying the wrong way" - they were returning instead of leaving due to the warm weather

He was baffled when I asked him if he knew gonzo

:D

They will be Canadian or arctic geese that settle here for the winter. ????

Big coat out tomorrow

Aye, forecast up these parts has it coming down from midnight until 8am. Pretty early this year, reminds me of 2009 which turned into a cowd un.

Aye said similar to our kid this afternoon.

Give me this cold stuff all winter. We love it.

Think we were up to D in the storm phone book by this time last year. Hope and prey those fuckers don't hit us like the last couple winters.

A long cold winter is perfect for us.

Snowing here in East Lancs now

Not cold enough for snow tonight in Bolton, I reckon

Our insurance weather software shit has it as a cold one rather than a wet one. I'd take that if it meant I got a brucey bonus at the end of the financial year!

Heavy?

Still sleet just over the hill.

Heavy?

Yes, but I'm trying to lose weight.

None as yet. Thankfully

Loads here, shall I send you some?

Interesting drive over Sheephouse Lane this morning!

it went from freezing, to absolutly tipping it down last night

what the fuck is going on

Hardly any snow fell here, yet I can see shed loads on the hills a mile away towards where Traf lives. A clear East West divide.

Very little on my trek from North bolton to the shadows of Ewood

Despite my going over the tops

Had a meeting in Leeds today

Was a fair covering over the tops
