Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Any fresh snowfall for any of you wools today?

Kids want to find snow. Might have a drive grane road or pendle.

We are going to a hill with snow on in the middle of nowhere before any of you covid nonces start.

Nah but the road is like a ice rink.
Bring a few tinnies and we can play watch the cars slide into other cars

Just been over Grane Road and back down into Edgworth.

Absolutely stunning scenery and skies; all manner of blues and greens to the west, and low mist caressing the woods, all the ground and trees enshrouded in a light blanket of crisp white.

It's thawing out in Howfen Central - thank fuck!

I meant we can't go further than the garden. Work would lynch me if they saw me 😂

Woah there a moment. Work can say what you do or don’t do while there but providing you aren’t doing something to bring your employers into disrepute they can fuck off. Besides, there are plenty folk above your pay grade who need to answer a disrepute charge before someone taking their nipper sledging.

Haha. NHS will have you for owt. Anyway I'm negative so I can cough on everyone in peace now 👍

Employers can set conditions of employment that stretch beyond the workplace.

Can't allow bus drivers to turn in over the limit for example.

That’s a given. Any job driving (or piloting) would depend on you having a license. Lose it through D&D then don’t be surprised to lose your job. A driver unable to drive is neither use nor ornament.

Taking your child to a hill in the snow is not the same as going in pissed.

She's employed looking after at risk people (potentially). Not unreasonable of her employer to ask for certain rules to be met.

As a family can go out according to tier 4 rules, unless there are additional requirements from the nhs, then she could go.

However potentially congregating on a hill with others, even if unintentionally, isn't permitted under tier 4.

Perhaps you're taking things a bit literally.

I am? I know the rules working for public service and I reckon BB could quite easily isolate from others with a sledge.

Well it's glorious out now, and the sun is surprisingly warm for the time of year.

Minus 5 overnight here after a snowfall yesterday evening. Getting the car out was fun this morning.

How long before you realised it was frosted glass?

Minus 6 here tonight. I’m just glad I’m not a foot soldier and won’t have to leave the house tomorrow. Fuck that

Are you Owain Wyn Evans ?

Must admit i do admire your fantastic Monkey Puzzle Tree . It did help me get through the first lockdown.

Did you buy it from Bents ?

Has anyone noticed how cold it has been since we finally left the EU?
Warmer European countries refusing to send hotter air over to us, damn you Brexit.

Like dancing on ice going to school this morning. Made the 6 year old hold my hand (more so I didn't fall) she was fuming with me 😂

A period of cold is beneficial in the life cycle of fruit trees for example. Supposed to help in the profession of fruit in the subsequent season.

They can keep their rain.
