It’s clear you’re struggling when you start with your “what about when you did this in this thread” 😂 won’t be long now until you bring my job into it again. can’t even remember what I said in the thread you’re talking about. But I’ll always admit to making a mistake, it’s how we live. I made one today when I was reading and happily admitted it. What’s funny is the effort you go to and tangents you create when you’re having a mare. All these clown badges and insults you hand out when you’re simultaneously chatting absolute shite. 😂 can I finish with a question about your arson point? Play your game for bit. How many of Europe’s many wildfires, currently raging across numerous countries, are because of arsonists? Edited July 25, 2023 by London Wanderer Quote

Aye, most of Europe's will be down to that. And why are they getting much worse in recent years than they have ever been before? Edited July 25, 2023 by London Wanderer Quote

Scientists right left and centre are saying that climate change is making wildfires much more severe and more common. I ask you why you think they are getting worse and you say disposable fukn BBQs 🤣 If that wasn't a joke then there's no point debating anymore😄 Quote

If its damp or not in the middle of record breaking temperatures and dry spells it wont matter shit. Greek Arsonists can roam free all winter setting fire to stuff. Its the fact that current climate allows fires to rage and spread across dry land. Who gives a flying fuck what actually starts the fire? A fire can only carry on burning if the fuel is there for it burn. Ie parched ground thats had no rain for donkeys and currently baking in temperatures half way to boiling point. Quote

You’ve already agreed to that did you forget? Now over here, like I’ve said many fire brigades have said there has been an increase in wildfires due to BBQs. Obviously you know better than these folk. Quote

No it means fuck all, like these fires would all just magically appear. It really doesn’t have to be in the middle of record breaking temperatures as I’ve posted earlier on. Yes a fire can only burn if the fuel is there. What are you Honeslty expecting the ground to be like in mid July in Fkin Greece! Quote

Surely part of the problem isn't the number of fires that are started, it's the severity Arson could start a fire that maybe you could stamp out or piss on Ground conditions may not help and winds certainly won't, that's nothing to do with how it starts Quote

No one is disputing who starts the fires. No one. Not a single person. Zero. Everyone, bar you, is saying that the warmer climate is making them worse. Do you agree that this is a factor? You don’t have to agree. But that is the point we are all making. Quote

If fkin idiots didn’t start these fires there wouldn’t be the problems. But hey Ho it doesn’t really matter how they start. Let’s just get back to having smaller ones that didn’t kill as many, then everyone will be happy. Quote

Fires in North Africa, and people dead. Like a ring of fire around the earth, with others further north too. At the end of it, more dry weather and winds will continue to strip away soils. A slow process of course, but ultimately damaging nonetheless. Similarly, heavy rains can also worsen them as there is little to hold it all in place. Quote

gonzo Posted July 25, 2023 Author Posted July 25, 2023 Just start building gaffs without fire regs then. Lets concentrate on the arsonists. Quote

Thing is, have there been more campfires and bbqs this year than last? Or, have there been a similar amount but the fires they’ve caused were mallee and less severe last year because there wasn’t a brutal heatwave? Quote
