To be fair that's what every climate report comes back to in its solutions. Cut emissions and speed it up now. It shouldn't really be a political debate anymore. Politicians should be facing prison time for dismissing net zero policies. Drastic I know, but that's the nature of being in an emergency, as we saw with Covid. But aye, we've got to now accept that we're very likely heading for at least 2 degrees, even if the world suddenly gets its act together. So that means preparing for more extreme weather and mass movement/relocation of people. It's already happening I guess. Quote

I reckon that would mean you'd have to increase your prices for cleaning the glass. How much for a space pods windows, inside and out, once a week? £8 Quote

London Wanderer Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 No way I’m booking Europe again between June & August. I know it’s not always brutally hot, but it’s still not worth the risk. Just can’t function at all when it starts pushing over 35 degrees & I quite like exploring the local area when on holiday. Quote

Can't be arsed lounging by a pool all day, and sometimes a cooler wetter day can make for decent walking with fewer folk about! Quote

Went camping last week near Harrogate, the forecast was appalling but only had one full day of rain, the rest was a couple of nights only so it worked out well. Always a risk camping in blighty. royal white Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 Highs of 32 in Rhodes this week. I’d be a bit pissed off if I was going there in August and that’s the highest temp. Quote
