We went to Dominican last year and it was 33/34 most days but humid as fuck and quite unpleasant at times for a meal. I know humans are pretty much are, irrespective of colour/creed kind of "built" the same, but there must be something that makes people born and bred for many generations in certain locals deal with those environments betterย - or is it down to clothingย ๐ย - do we need to start sporting loin clothes in the summer and seal furs in the winter? I'm sure you do get better at coping, some by lifestyle- siestas etc. Darker skins cope with the damaging rays better. Not just the heat though- water is the problem, as that gets scarcer, folk can't live in the place. Quote
