There was a big hoo harr and someone was arrested! What ever happened?? Does anyone know?, It all went very quiet after a few days, as if everyone involved was told to keep their mouths shut. Quote

Spider Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 This arsonist deserves a fucking medal. He’s managed to start 64 fires across a thousand square miles and 2 separate islands in one day. Olympian: Quote

The conditions that allow such a fire to grow and spread may well be as a result of climate change. Surely that's just obvious, and this isn't a binary discussion between one or the other? For the most part, I would imagine the vast majority are started by human activity, whether deliberate or not. The conditions are however extreme, and we're seeing loads of huge blazes around the world. Canada and Russia not necessarily places you'd associate with such huge conflagration, but they are happening nonetheless. Quote
