Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Hoping so!!

Clearly much worse up there, though areas around Sheffield had schools closed today too.

That said, they should have got the roads sorted, unless there is much more to come.

Well, Bert brought his presence to bear today.

Loads of flooding all over.

Quite impressive at Belmont this morning, and Jackburn couldn't get a game on.

CNR at at the hump back bridge next to station park was getting a bit deep after the match

Absolute deluge early doors. Like a summer thunderstorm.

Off out shortly with the hounds to have a look at the river.

I completely missed this,  sorry pal

too busy waffling shite in the other threads😂

How was the drive, did you get back before all the snow?

Had it bad in Wales.

Some parts may have more snow this week.

One of our lads lives near Ludlow and his village is under 4 ft of water.

The Severn is close by and apparently yet to reach its full surge, so likely to get worse before gets better.

No worries. Glorious clear blue skies through the Lakes and the Borders both ways. Hit the weather on the way back when I got down to Lancaster

The bloke I was supposed to be working with was stuck under a few feet of snow west of Inveraray. Took him a few days to get out :D

Haha I stop there every time and have a look at the butchers. Was after some oxtail but it was £18 for 5 small pieces. Was also after some Herdwick mutton but they didn’t have any

Crikey

I was there when I found out I had Covid, back in the days when you had to go out and get tested at a centre. I couldn't get my head around why my bowl of soup was so tasteless. Then I got the text and it all clocked.

Pricey place but always enjoy stopping there.

Whilst I'm far from sure, I think these were at Bolton food festival once. Could have been someone else.

They're from the right area, so who knows, they may supply Tebay.

Whichever farm it was, it was good.
