I would hate anyone to have their prejudices challenged by the addition of simple facts, but for one, the 45k average figure is bollocks.   http://www.payscale.com/research/UK/Job=Fuel_Tanker_Driver

Need to fill up to get home for the weekend. Hopefully news hasn't reached Cockermouth yet.

Theyre still worried about the leccy black outs up there.

And yes I laughed at cockermouth, again :)

I've used 30 quids worth today, but i'm off work for a week after tomorrow so hopefully by then will have calmed down a lil bit

Thats my thinking. I only need to fill up Friday and by then all the clowns will be driving around with full tanks.

They've not even confirmed the strike yet.

British people are more annoying than we'd like to admit.

Its when they move on to stockpiling bread and mik from the supermarkets when you realise its finally hit fuckwit level

The morons queuing probably only go to the shops once a week anyway

Wankers

So, you got a Wolves ticket after all.

It's just a ploy to get you to spend more at the pumps instead of the usual tenner. More you spend more the government get in tax.

Think about it.

Another of those miserable situations this rotten country specialises in where everyone on all sides is behaving like a bellend. Firstly, the strike is supposed to be occuring on a 55% majority when 12% didn't bother to vote. Hardly a massive mandate. Secondly, there has to be a week's notice before they do so anyway so the hysterical Tory scare-mongering for political gain is so transparent even Tories aren't falling for it.

For what it's worth, on this occasion the complaints of the union are very much justified, if anyone else bothered to look into what they are. But if you didn't I hardly blame you due to this 'right we're pissed off, let's strike!' mentality. Even to Mr Average wandering around ASDA with his mouth hanging open there are lots of ways to make your point without striking, but not to the unions. Unimaginative and boring.

PS Interesting fact. Both Norman Tebbit and Michael Gove took part in strikes before they gave up proper work to become politicians.

But you only use the same amount. That doesn't make sense, it just stays in your tank longer.
