Indeed. Happy Birthday, could still do a job me thinks.

Many Happy Returns.

He didn't look in the best of health at Nat's funeral.

Comes across as an all round good bloke too - H B Sir Tom

The Preston Plumber. Found this on youtube, no Finney but great all the same.

Happy Birthday to him!

My owd man is 90 in December this year.

Pity we have to get old but happy birthday Tom Finney and keep well young man

Happy Birthday to another true legend.

Happy birthday Sir Tom.

My old man always says they kept it quiet if he wasn't playing against us down at Burnden. Otherwise, the crowd would be down by thousands.

one of the few remaing greats of the early game. happy birthday old fella. superb innings.

Was reading something in the paper t'other day about how Shankley reckoned Finney was better than Pele.

Biff, remember him? He always said that Finney was the best he ever saw kicking a casey. Didn't think the Biffster was that old.

Biff may have been biased, he taught Finney at school.

My mate's a Preston fan. His grandad said he'd rather watch Tom fit a fireplace than watch the current Preston team.

My late Dad always said that Finney was the best player he ever saw, bar none.

Happy Birthday Sir Tom

A term that is used loosely today,

But that man is and will always be a Legend in the true sense of the word

Happy birthday Sir Tom. Legend. Fortunate enough to have met him on a number of occasions, so humble and down to earth, spoke well of Sir Nat too

Oi enough of that, have you not learnt your lesson? :blum:

Tom Finney was at Nats funeral he looked frail and it was sad to see but he still came to say good bye to an old team mate, from what I have read he was not just a special player but a special man, happy birthday to a true legend of the game.

I believe he was at the bok today.

Happy Birthday

Tom Finney retired from football in 1960, but he returned in August 1963 to play in the European Cup.

For which club?

Brother used to work for a charity in the NW which Tom Finney did a lot for; reckons he's a top bloke and real gent. When he goes that really will be last of the greats departed.

Happy Birthday Sir Tom, a lot like our Nat in every way.
