Sunderland 2 Wanderers 2

We are better away from home at picking up crucial points as the game at Villa proves, so looking ahead to the Sunderland game let's have your thoughts and predictions. Bear in mind being a Wanderer means plenty of ups and down.

davies was brilliant - absolutely faultless

He was brilliant, but he was at fault for giving them the free-kick that put us 2-1 down.

i'm hardly a happy clapper but i was pleased with us today

one of my better visits to the north east

played very well but two mistakes (boyata/wheater mess up on the first and bogdans unnaceptable effort on the free kick) and a cool, cool finish from bendtner cost us

davies was brilliant - absolutely faultless...pity he stumbled over the chance for a third and even then he nearly set up klasnic

klasnic, so close to 2 goals and nowt else

cracking 10 minute cameo from vela - reminded me of the first time i saw nolan and mcateer

yeah, we can say 2 points dropped cos we deserved the win, but for me, massive point gained

a win and a draw should see us home

I mentioned he is a good un during the week.

Unfortunately i think today was a must win for Bolton......there's been nothing to suggest we are good enough to win the home games against Spurs and West Brom and we have to win one of them now.

QPR won't lose at both Chelsea and City.We will need more than 4 points

You sure mate? Their(QPR)s away form is rubbish, a West London derby and a last game of the season at City who are defending an awesome home record, whether the league is won or lost by then? Would we want to go to them last game of the season having to get something?

You should go visit a bookie. They seem to be disagreeing with you.

It was n't even a free kick imo, he pulled out of the challenge but the ref fell for it.I thought Sunlun were dirty tvvats today on the sly,and Clattermole should have seen a red.

Give over. We didn't get much from the officials but there wasn't anything to think about there!

The free kick against Eagles by the corner flag and the 'foul' by Boyata on Sessegnon needed some explanation, mind.

Davies pulled out of the challenge and the bloke took a dive over his outstretched leg and the ref fell for it.

Th'East Midlands Whites are not long back; would have taken a point before the game so can't really complain. Ultimately you can take all sorts of positives and negatives out of it as you see fit. Bottom line now is we have to do the bizzo in the two homes coming up....

Aye, you said.

Aye, you said.

My guess is you've never played the game much.

Even if that was the case, I don't know what difference it would make.

True, but even daft Darren could see it wasn't a foul.

Boyata wasn't great for the first goal but i thought he looked solid today.

The whole defence has looked solid recently.

Ream has really impressed me. Him and wheater have developed a good partnership.

Davies is back to his best. Eagles is playing well

We look like a proper team again.

Very good :D :hi:

Did anyone see the ref talking to some sunderland fans in the first half?

Fucking dope missed the corner and the proceeded to keep talking and kissing the badge on his shirt.

The Sunderland fan was sayin the ref needed glasses and the ref was sayin they were in his pocket!! typical numb ref

Great point for us yesterday, 4 points in 2 away games is ok especially with todays results. A win on wednesday almost relegates the chicken farmers, 4 points will keep us up

Where will a win and a draw come from.

Spurs? forget it, they want 4th place nailed on

WBA then must be a win? Probably a draw

Leaves us needing a win at Stoke...My blood pressure tablets will need to be double strength and I will face to face or mouth to bum or something to get me through that.

Great result, that in hindsight could have been a win. Thought we were excellent first half, just

becoming a bit sloppy for their goal.

Great trip and plenty of beer !!

Bit slow starting second half, but looked like only 1 winner towards the end.

Well done Mr Vella for a good cameo, SKD was immense. Klasnic was unlucky right at the end with the turn and shot, although he should have stuck his boot in in the melee at the end.

Only person I had concerns about was Boyata, the mix up between him and Wheater costing us dear.

Great week, 4 points. Just need to try and scrape a result from Spurs.

This Roy Hodgson and England thing may work in our favour as well.

Apart from that slight mixup, I thought Boyata had his best game for us on Saturday..

Once or twice when we had backs to the wall, Petrov was wandering about. At one stage he pointed to our defenders that there was an unmarked Sun'lun player lurking at the far post.. He didn't even try to come back and mark up. I realise that maybe his job is to break quickly if the ball comes out to him but if that guy had scored we'd have been fucked.

Over the past few months, Petrov has been 1 of our best players and probably one of our

biggest goal threats. Take your point though, as defending at the moment is all hands to the

pump and everyone putting their bodies on the line.
