May 15, 201214 yr If he's gone without getting fixed up first he's taking a bit of a risk. Barring Southampton or Reading, who'd have him?
May 15, 201214 yr Thats assuming the release was his choice and not an option for either party to terminate following relegation.
May 15, 201214 yr OK he wasn't exceptional, but he never let us down with a lack of effort on the pitch and if I was him I'd fuck off too given the shite that was coaching him and playing around him As the kids say "Meh"
May 15, 201214 yr Good luck to him. All the best Rather he do it now than hang around and play without really wanting to. He's put plenty of effort in this season, but I also wonder if he has an abrasive personality that winds others up? The king is dead. Long live the king
May 15, 201214 yr can i sing my song now.......without someone calling me a racist bastard ? Edited May 15, 201214 yr by victor meldrew
May 15, 201214 yr can i sing my song now.......without someone calling me a racist bastard ? I'd imagine all the do-gooders have fucked off now anyway. You'll be reet
May 15, 201214 yr Anyhow, I'm not sure why anyone's getting their knickers in a twist. He's not quoted anywhere saying "Fuck Bolton". I agree with this, I don't see why he should show any loyalty or why he should stay. He is merely exercising a clause in the contract that we offered to him. He wasn't the best and also wasn't the worst. I'll not lose any sleep, but he's not doing anything that others won't be doing, at least he's done it quickly so he's immediately off the wage bill. He's not a Bolton fan like we are, and I'm sure he doesn't really give a monkeys about Bolton, which may well be true for a lot of our squad players, no matter what they "tweet" It'll be interesting to see where he pitches up, as it it'll no doubt be somebody unspectacular like Reading I would have thought, although I suppose he'll manage to retain his large Barclays Premier League wage, which after all is all these players are interested in.
May 15, 201214 yr The speed at which he has deserted the sinking ship is what has fucked me off, like he couldnt wait to get out the fucking door. I hope in his first game for his new club he gets his legs smashed in. Look at it the other way. The quicker they go, the more we save in wages
May 15, 201214 yr sad to see him go Should have been here next season, as we should never have gone down Thanks heavens for the parachute
May 15, 201214 yr Nigel Who? Hope the door hits him on the arse on the way out. Feckless shite jumping ship ASAP.

May 15, 201214 yr Rescued him from Villa reserves and now he thinks he,s to good for us. Cheers for the loyalty.
May 15, 201214 yr Fooking gutted! Say what you want about the lad but but on the pitch he was the only one who cared. He was basically our midfield. spot on, if the rest of the team had shown the same commitment we would still be in the top flight. the lad deserves to play in the bpl, gutted if true, the one player we need to keep.
May 15, 201214 yr Fuck him. Can't fault his effort. Not our best midfielder by a long stretch Who is?
May 15, 201214 yr I really don't understand this clause!! So fair enough he can trigger the clause HOWEVER surely that just states he is now eligible to leave with the clubs permission.....if he still has another year on the contract, that means he is on the market and we take offers??? Not being able to reject because of the clause......not he can just piss off
