Has Chungy Indicated He Doesnt Want To Stay?

I might be adding 2 & 2 and getting 5 but the clues are there.

Gartside said the morning after relegation 'a few' had indicated they wanted to stay in the premiership

one is reo coker, weve no idea who the other is though? everyone that has so far left was our choice and jussi and knight are both still in talks, so they must be happy to stay if the wages are right.

coyle has now confirmed were after miyachi? why if we have Lee and Eagles for the right and Petrov and Wydle for the left?

I could of swore i have seen coyle say him and M.davies contract extends beyond 2013 a bit back

totally agree

"A factor that could cloud the issue slightly is that the midfielder has 12 months remaining on his contract, and that he would be free to speak with other clubs by the time the next transfer window comes around.

........................ but it is understood [the Whites] currently have no plans for immediate contract talks with the Korean. "

I don't like the sound of that.

Too much like the Elmander & Cahill situations. Drifting ......

To be fair, we couldn't offer a new contract at any stage last season as we didn't know if he would be able to play again at this level, expecially with his injury being so bad. When it comes down to talks now, he might not want to sign on for a Championship club, and we also may not be wanting to chuck big wages at him knowing we aren't a PL club.

I think the best we can hope for is that he plays well until January and then we get c?3M for him half way through the season, or we're pissing the division and he fancies staying with us as we get back into the BPL

I don't often stick up for the club when it comes to contract discussions, but I'm fairly sure that had Ping Pong not broken his leg, contact extensions would have already been discussed during the course of last season.

But, as CWP said: the uncertainty around the club's PL status coupled with doubts over CYL ever recapturing his form have led to the current impasse.

So, up to this point, the club could have done very little different.

It's from hereon in that we need to worry about them fucking up.

Don't disagree, Traf.

But he's been back at the club doing football training for a few weeks now, and even been played in a couple of matches. Enough evidence to make a decision on his fitness for this level ?

Given the tight timescale involved, I don't like the sound of "currently have no plans for immediate contract talks". Just my personal opinion.

He will be on decent money, if we offer an extension we will have to better the money as in 12 months he will be a free agent so he would be giving up the potential of a massive pay day.

The club could nt do much last year and there is no reason whilst we are in the championship for him to sign an extension.

Well according to the Reebok heirachy on the back page of Tuesdays Bolton News he's signed till 2015, so the Turks better have plenty of till to persuade the club to sell :)

Garty confirmed on twitter contacted until 2015

I knew i was right!

Good news.

So I don't understand why they were saying "the midfielder has 12 months remaining on his contract" just 2-3 days ago.

"secretly penned a contract extension last August" : Why 'secretly' ??

Because last August you'd have got plenty of folk slating the club for offering a 4 year extension to a lad with a big broken leg injury. Club can't win

Dont go bringing logic to the table. He's not wanted round here.

Maybe it was a secret from Chungy.

A contract cleverly disguised as a 'get well soon' card for Fab and BINGO - ours for three more years!

"Just sign this will ya, it's for my kids, they're big fans..."

well done bwfc....

...i think (hope)
