Had we been in the Barclays Premier League, I wouldn't have signed him.

 

But he's what we need in the Power Championship, having lost NRC and Muamba. Also scored 9 in 20 games for Ipswich in the first half of last season, then did okay at WBA.

 

Happy enough with that.

We've lost Reo-Coker. Muamba is out indefinitely. We're not yet sure if Holden will come back as the player he was.

That leaes us with Mark Davies and Pratley ... neither of whom could tackle their way out of a paper bag.

 

Andrews may not be the most talented of players but he was been one of the very few Irish players in this Euro tournament who looks like he really cares. He has heart and will give us some badly needed steel in the middle.

 

Anyone unhappy with this signing needs a reality check.

 

Like it or not we're a Championship side now. He'll be one of the better players in the league this coming season. I'd rather it be with us than with someone else.

Him and Holden in the middle = very solid. Both can tackle, both have good engines and both know where the goal is. Happy with this.
