Ow and if you find yourself up Blackpool way looking for this sort of Fodder then go to The Cottage. Take away or sit down with draught larger. Driven up a few times just to sample the delights of that place.

 

Also for the record it has to be Jumbo Cod, Chips, Peas and loads of Curry sauce!

He used to own it. He's moved on now to "JFB" in Horwich near Aldi.

However, I still go to Chips R Us. Was in there pre-match last night.

Green Lane chippy in Leigh won an award for being one of the best in the NW, but the other week, the one on Kirkhall Lane in Leigh what i tried was the best Fish,Chips and Mushy Peas i have had since watching the Whites in Hull and Grimsby.

Bennett's Lane does indeed take some beating.

 

That Alice's facing Old Three Crowns in Bolton is a good one too.

Bennetts Lane is the closest chippy where i live, but i always get the shits when i've been there - no matter what i've eaten.

In the end i settled for frozen plaice[ cooked it first ] and home made chips. but for the record where is bennets lane. the cottage sounds a gud un to, cheers again.
