September 11, 201213 yr I got thrown out and missed Nolans goal, shortly after he scored the gates opened for the home end and I got back in.
September 11, 201213 yr Fuck me time goes quick. I'm getting fucking old. Cant quite believe some of the brilliance/utter shit Ive seen since that night Edited September 11, 201213 yr by Marc505
September 11, 201213 yr Was in the corporate with another Bolton fan; he kept reasonably quiet but I was celbrating and the stewards threatened to kick me out. Was in the home end Kept quiet til the final whistle and then went mental. Got threatened by a load of paddies and laughed in their faces then got chucked out by Stewards as I was over waving at the away fans going mental. Think I was on the mobile waving to Gumbo
September 11, 201213 yr Think campo made his debut that night too coming on for the last few mins Aye - debut against Scum, first goal against Liverpool, first yellow and red cards against Arsenal, all in the space of eleven days.
September 11, 201213 yr I went with the club travel for that game, No idea why There was a public transport strike, no way of getting back to Bolton. There was a long fleet of coaches and it was still the good old days when they picked up and dropped off in town
September 11, 201213 yr Great night, and great fun at school the day after! Getting seats next to the home fans was a bad idea. Being told 'you should know better' by a steward was amusing. Being a bad influence, maybe. I hope its not 10 years before it happens again.

Think I was on the mobile waving to Gumbo Oddly, given I didn't know you, I think I recall that, was it in the south stand? Def remember a Bolton fan celebrating in the home end
September 11, 201213 yr Stuck in London village that night and i ended up giving my ticket to Gubbins who was going back up north the day before, and sold it on to Zozzy. Managed to find a pub in Hammersmith with the game on the telly.
September 12, 201213 yr Watched game in a bar on Kos - we were flying home later that night. At the final whistle I was dancing around like a lunatic and stupidly fully extended my arms shouting to our friends something about I dont need a plane to fly me home. Some tosser in a Brazil shirt who suddenly claimed to a scum follower, took exception and intimated I was glorifying the Munich disaster - I would not do that. I tried to explain my actions but he was having none of it until my missus stepped in and basically told him to shut the fuck..... We reached the airport where another Wanderers fan on seeing my replica top, ran over gave me a hug and said "how sweet was that". My group of four very nearly missed our flight as we hammered it in the bar. And yes I could have flown home without Monarch.
September 12, 201213 yr Oddly, given I didn't know you, I think I recall that, was it in the south stand? Def remember a Bolton fan celebrating in the home end Their old main stand where the dug outs are etc. dunno what it's called
September 12, 201213 yr Was a fucking tragedy Kevin Nolan didnt get an England call up during that time. He was outstanding. Watching England trying to score last night, Nolan wouldn't be a totally bad shout now. He's back in the Prem scoring goals.
September 12, 201213 yr Oddly, given I didn't know you, I think I recall that, was it in the south stand? Def remember a Bolton fan celebrating in the home end obviously you wouldnt of known him then.... he didnt become Boltons FIO till around 2005.
September 12, 201213 yr obviously you wouldnt of known him then.... he didnt become Boltons FIO till around 2005. FIO Go on then....??
September 13, 201213 yr I'm not sure if it was a public strike that night or just the Bolton to Manc track because I'm sure I went to that game from Radcliffe station. Feels like about 5yrs not 10yrs, mind you good memories stick better
September 13, 201213 yr obviously you wouldnt of known him then.... he didnt become Boltons FIO till around 2005. You leave officer Darby alone
September 14, 201213 yr I hate the memory of that day. Nicky Hunt and Jaaskelainen fucked up as Bellion punched the ball home. Thats how I saw it anyway. At least Nicky Hunt has improved since then! First start of the season for Rotherham last week at Vale Park. Booked in 2 minutes, at fault for 3 of the 4 goals conceded in the first 28 minutes then subbed at half time. Howfin' tosser
