SalfordOriginal Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 what does that say? It says he's a fucking clown! Quote
Ani Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 (edited) As I said It's not this signing in isolation It's when looked at as a whole The transfer 'policy' smacks of disorganisation and desperation We have Andrews and spearing who can play def midfield Unless we're going to play 451 I don't see us needing more than 1 def midfielder per game If we play 451, we only need 1 striker - we have 4 If warnock is here to play left back, what does that say about his signing alonso and ricketts The idea of getting some experience and maybe from that leadership has no advantage? Especially on loan. The fact he can play left back and midfield for me is nt a Problem We have cover in most positions is he better than some of the options we now have? Probably so do not see the problem. Think you would have an issue whoever Coyles signs. I am very much in the camp that oc is out of his depth and needs to go, however does not mean every signing is a bad one. Edited September 22, 2012 by Ani Quote
Casino Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 I have had no issue with any of his recent signings, adobe aside There is no structure No organisation A recurring theme I guess so I don't know why I'm surprised Quote

Gumbo Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Warnock won't need any coaching to sit in for the full backs if he plays in front of the back 4... Quote
Guest Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Abode is a real strange why sign a youngster who ain't that good on loan and end up not playing sordell Why? Why is the question with Coyle. I guess there can be only one answer He doesn't have a clue. The other "why" is; why the hell hasn't he been sacked? Quote
Juan.Kerr Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 It's a good signing if he stays fit and gets the games, and there's a lot of games in three months. If OC can find his best position (LB for me) it could turn the season around. Mark my Words. Think on. Quote
jules_darby Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Alonso appears to be a good footballer but unsure on his defending We seem to be struggling t right back and Ricketts is on the left So surely Warnock lb, Ricketts rb and Alonso on the bench. Mears can just fuck off works for me Quote

bwfc87 Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 I'll put it out there, what about Alonso for center mid, he's very good on the ball when he gets forward always looks a threat in the box with his height. Also won't have any quick wingers tearing him a new one. Quote
Casino Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 what about alonso for 'fcuk off, you'll never be a footballer while you have a hole in your arse' Quote
Burndens Bogs Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Alonso would do awreet at Bury or summat, he just isn't a player who brings any benefits to our side. Quote

Well that's good to know , i assume Sammy Lee was a deliberate omission . It appears we are on the same page apart from the one before Coyle , but each to their own. Thanks for putting me straight Quote

Juan.Kerr Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 I think Li'l Sam had the job shoved at him due to the timing of FSA leaving. He probably realised he wasn't manager material at the time but hadn't really got a choice. Quote
Burndens Bogs Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 So out of 10 managers - Wright Mcgovern Anderson Neal Rioch Todd Allardyce Lee Megson Coyle 7 have been shit, 2 have been good, and the jury is still out on one of 'em Quote

So , you are wet behind the ears, Neal was the masterplan behind our resurgence. After the utter dross of Mcgovern et al of the 80s, wise old Phil brought stability, Stubbs, McAteer, Walker. . Some folk (probably the ones who hounded Nolan) berated him at Chester away. 'Water off a ducks back ' said Phil. Fair play to him. I think my role in life should be to educate a few on here Quote
