Shame for the man (even though annoying at times) he held his dignity when those at the helm didn't.

Don't like him at all, but no manager deserves the amount of shit that bloke has put up with.

Still remeber last year at Ewood when we beat them, never heard anything like it. Very suprised he didn't just walk then

For fuck sake

I wonder who they think they can attract now, I'm not sure who would want to work for the Venkys

Coyle?

Tim Sherwood the early favorite.

Coylesque that appointment

Yup, said that earlier

No established manager would that job. would they?

Popping the white head doesnt remove the spot!

That man was a hero in my eyes, I assume he's foregoing a big pay day in resigning rather than getting chopped, admittedly I'm sure this isn't the last on this matter though!

Is curbs still in the NorthWest by any chance?

what Dave said

Another great day in the history of South Lancashire football :yahoo:

Even his 13 year old daughter was getting abuse, not from a marsh teacher either.

Bang out of order that.

worth a punt?

Shame

They seemed so well matched

From the outside you would think the guy was a saint. He was part of agency that "managed" Blackburn on behalf of the Indian owners who had newly aquired the club. The agency "advised" them to remove BSA and appoint Kean, who then proceeded to sell or oust all the senior players and replace them with said "agency" approved purchases including one scot who was the son of one of the agents and who never featured in the first team, in fact there were several dubious signings.

But because the fans had the temerity to see through this and complain loudly at what was happening the rest of the country call them wankers.

Believe me he deserved the shit, his agency pals ensured he well rewarded for his efforts.

He won't be 'signing on' tomorrow, you've no need to worry about that.

Depends which way you look into this. From my point of view he's been great. From a objective point of view everyone from him, the owners, the fans have all come out of this as turds. From the Dingles point of view Satan has been removed. On the plus I think venkys are a much bigger problem to Blackburn than Kean was ever gonna be.

Owen Coyle 66-1

I agree from a bwfc point of view he paved the way for our Premiership survival but we still managed to fcuk it up. I just don't go along with the general view that he was hard done to. My daughter went to school with the daughter of two people who work for Blackburn and I have know of some unbelievable stories that would be comical if they did not affect ordinary folk working for the club.

The Homerjay tale on the other thread is very believable and is quite similar to the other tales I have heard, the ones relating to his wife and her relationship to the lady indian owner are so outlandish that even I hearing from my source could only shake my head in disbelief. The guy was a meglomaniac, drunkard and his number one priority was "Steve Kean"

Believe me when I say he made a lot of ordinary folks lives a misery at that club. A true bully and has a screw loose.
