January 20, 201313 yr whoever vets programming at CBeebies will be twitching today http://www.bbc.co.uk...t-arts-21108337 CBeebies has apologised after a character from the children's TV programme The Tweenies appeared dressed as disgraced TV presenter Jimmy Savile. The episode, which was filmed in 2001, was shown on the BBC before 0900 GMT. In the scene, the character Max appeared in a blonde wig, wearing Savile's trademark tracksuits and using his accent and catchphrases Edited January 20, 201313 yr by jayjayoghani
January 20, 201313 yr For fucks sake, if a kid knows who Savile is, let alone what he represents, why the fuck would they be watching a pre-school age programme in the first place? If I read the phrase "...have took to Twitter to express their outrage" one more time today...It's like a touchstone of shit 'journalism'. It's beyond the pale now, fuckwits wittering on about something on fucking Twitter is not news. Edited January 20, 201313 yr by Youri McAnespie
January 20, 201313 yr Don't make me gip. I'd imagine a poorly looked after one smells of some sort of generic uncooked meat. Am I right? More like a mangrove swamp at low tide.

September 10, 201312 yr guess this thread is as good as any for kevin webster stuff saw he got cleared http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2416656/Coronation-Street-Michael-Le-Vell-arrives-court-jury-sex-abuse-trial-resume-deliberations.html now I don't know either way but based on the court evidence, I couldn't see how they could convict apparently the best the prosecution had with regards her claims was that she had "no reason to lie" and that he is "troubled" the best the defence could do was he's weak and a pisshead, but he's not a nonce how did it even get to trial? wouldn't like to think many people get convicted on that sort of basis
September 10, 201312 yr Even though he's been cleared of doing anything, I doubt we'll be seeing him on telly much in the near future. If he really is innocent, then that's grim that he's probably just lost his job and will have little or no chance of getting something else in the same line of work again.
September 10, 201312 yr Medical opinion was that the girl was still a virgin, pretty shit that that can ruin your life.
September 10, 201312 yr "One man shouted 'Get in' when the last verdict was read out." He wants locking up.
September 10, 201312 yr how did it even get to trial? wouldn't like to think many people get convicted on that sort of basis What about that bloke done last week for rape/murder, some poor sod and his mate did about six years and three years respectively for the girl's murder before the real killer was caught by DNA analysis (after he committed another crime) was crossmatched...The only 'evidence' in the original case was he (the wrong man) was her boyfriend and the last to see her alive.
