November 15, 201213 yr That's the kind of phoney line whoever is currently broadcasting it comes out with. The FA Cup is a shadow of what it was in our youth, it's all about the Premiership now. Might be in your eyes, I still look forward to the draw for the 3rd round more than any other day in the season. Edited November 15, 201213 yr by Mounts Kipper
November 15, 201213 yr jus twatching Altrincham v Burtoin Albion on ESPN. Camera stops, I mean stops, on that big scum advert behind the goal. There should have been a warning or something.
November 15, 201213 yr If Rotherham can see off Notts County I hope we get them away. Think we've only been in the same hat as them, both cups, about 5 times in 12 years.
November 16, 201213 yr Not guilty mi' lud mum and dad moved down your way 20 year ago, theyre in st agnes
November 16, 201213 yr surely the magic comes in the 3rd round when it's "david v goliath" spose that could come in 1st rounds when you got non league v football league but MK Dons V Cambridge City sounded non-magical can't say I'll be checking how gloucester v orient ends up either But then you're not a Cambridge City or Gloucester City fan. 2,400 at Altrincham last night against Burton Albion - about 4 times their league gates. And I imagine you won't be checking how Orient against Charlton or Norwich ends up in the 3rd round either. What magic the FA Cup still has is about your own team (maybe) and the fate of the (relatively) small V big ties in whatever round ....... not just about the Premiership's big 6 or 8 or whoever. Nice ground is the New York Stadium. If it's at the Bok we'll bring 5000 with us. It'll be a full house if it's at NYS. Up the millers
November 16, 201213 yr Nice ground is the New York Stadium. If it's at the Bok we'll bring 5000 with us. It'll be a full house if it's at NYS. Up the millers Would be much better at NYS than Reebok. They'd nigh on outnumber us if here. Pretty good that they got space for NYS in town and stones throw from Milmoor. Went to Southend home game, unfortunately not the best one to pick. Sad fact we figured out the other day that I have been to 24 grounds with Rotherham!
November 16, 201213 yr Superb away support. Went to York this season sell out 1800. Went FLEETWOOD Tuesday night 6th November, took 1000. They are good Numbers for a basement club. Went accy too when it was called off!!!!

Went accy too when it was called off!!!! Did you go in their Championship era? Coinciding with good times for us, their wins at Wednesday were on a par with ours at OT. Often think not a lot of difference between us beyond a consistent and relative rich owner and timing!

Went accy too when it was called off!!!! You are probably a really nice man,and long standing Bolton fan. But can I just say.... Fuck off then ,you Rotherham cunt. Liking another team is just weird. Proper weird. No doubt I'm going to get a chapter and verse on your Bolton credentials. But no,I'm not having it.........you cant support two teams.

I don't think enjoying a few footy games with a different set of mates is a problem. I do however not like calling another club "us" over us.
November 17, 201213 yr I don't think enjoying a few footy games with a different set of mates is a problem. It's not something I could Imagine doing to be fair.
November 17, 201213 yr It's not something I could Imagine doing to be fair. Firstly.....still no call you cunt Secondly I now have 3 teams in BWFC, NAC Breda and now Hamburg SV!!! You have to get a football fix somehow
November 17, 201213 yr Few local teams at home in second round meaning they have a chance of getting through. Would love any of these away: Accrington Tranmere Bury Carlisle Crewe Fleetwood Oldham Preston Rotherham (sure captainmed would love this) Sheff U Going to end up being a Prem or Championship team at home though. Anyone think a tie against a premiership side in January might be a good scalp to take and give the team a lift for the run in to the end of season? Edited November 17, 201213 yr by East Stand 50
November 17, 201213 yr Can I just throw my tuppeny hapennyworth in here over the two teams thing? I have followed Wanderers all my life but I always wanted to get into football club journalism. So, after a 10 year stint at the Reebok with a ST in NSL, I left it behind to chance my arm with Shrewsbury Town. I've been working with them now for 6 seasons on a part-time basis. I do all their match reports (check them out at shrewsburytown.com straight after the match if you can be arsed 'cos some feedback would be good) and it's impossible not to get an affinity going. I've done ShrewsPlayer match commentary and loads of interviews so it's been great. However, my twitter feed is constant so I can get BWFC updates and my heart still sinks when we concede (don't we always) and jumps when we score. I do believe it's possible to have passion for two clubs and don't think it's weird at all. JSL. DFSWA. Oh, and just to get back on topic, STFC v BWFC or the other way around in the Cup would have been lovely. Only, 'we' got fucked at Hereford in R1 so that's pissed on those particular chips!
November 17, 201213 yr I pretty much hate the other 91 league clubs. I like Fulham away and think there a good club. That's as far as I'd go though.

November 17, 201213 yr Can't say I find Fulham likeable at all meself Always like the boozers round there, its probably the nicest place where a footy team is based. The ground still has a nice traditional feel to it, well as much as you will get in the premier league anyway.
November 17, 201213 yr that stand is built out of tin sheet! goodison and villa park are traditional traditional:noun, meaning shit my favourite prem ground is spurs
