Got worried when I saw that, thought they wanted to increase the capacity of the ground.

Pleased to see they're looking to further improve academy and training facilities.

Aye sounds like good news and takes mock of our super debt.

£100m being spent on the reebok, lostock and arena. Would expect most of it to be from a grant?

I'd expect most of it to come from Eddie Davies' pocket or funding he has acquired. It adds more 'value' to the eventual sale of the club if successful, seeing as a football club itself is fairly lacking in value.

Still disappointed the story didn't involve a sex change.

we could rent jjb's old building.

Theres a picture of the proposed plans ont Bolton news website.

It looks pants.

What chances do we reckon the commercial properties will have a bar?

It's another nail in the coffin of Bolton town centre surely a large part of the money would be better spent in the heart of Bolton?

this bit intrigued me

The scheme includes plans for a free school run by Wanderers, which, it is thought, would be the first school in England run by a football club outside the Premier League.

school? as in a proper school or a football acadamy type thing?

Bolton Council leader Cliff Morris said he welcomed anything that brought new investment to Bolton, but would judge the plans on their merits when he had seen them.
