Fiorentina have bid to take him now weve rejected we either agree on a fee now or he goes on a free in the summer or he signs with us, that aint happening though is it. fucking fuming Quote

Possibly the most improved team in Europe over the last 6 months. They've offered him 25k a week. We should have had him fucking tied up 6 months ago Quote

Certainly not when we are getting relegated. How many games did alonso play last season?! 95% of you said he was shit. There would have been uproar if we'd signed him up for another 3 years. No wonder Gartside thinks we're all bell ends after the comments above. The club can't fucking win. Quote

Like I say, he isn't getting a game ahead of Pasqual. Quote

Is it good business to buy someone for 2 mill and let them go for free, when buying a player for the future. I see your point on the long contracts etc, but why not approach this situation in the summer, how would not offering him a deal prove good sense? Quote
