The Boo Boys

Now I hate to give these imbeciles anymore coverage than they deserve, but it needs to be said.

But what the fucking hell is your problem??

That today was fucking embarrassing, booing at half time, booing a substitution??

I understand all supporters who have paid their hard earned cash to watch Bolton have every right to voice their opinion on what they see before them,a moan here a moan there, crack on get it off your chest.

But to engage in a chorus of mindless booing over something so trivial as substitution is just plain embarrassing.

Do you not see what a complete twat you are making of not just yourselves, but all the Bolton support aswell??

Without wanting to get into the details of today too much, ten minutes before the substitution fans across the ground, more so round me in fact were singing Martin Petrovs name.Very good you want him,so when the manager goes to put him on and take Lee off,you boo.

Now I'm not footballing expert, but if you want Petrov on,who is a wide man,who would you prefer to be taken off?? It was either player of the season Eagles or shadow of his former self Lee...its a no fucking brainer.

Your kind of antics at home games is making the Reebok a horrible place to,at times I felt like walking out, getting in my car and fucking off,it was fucking embarrassing. And its the dimwit boo boys as ever spoiling it for everyone.

Our new manager has commented 4 maybe 5 times during his short spell here on the booing,How fucking embarrassing is that?? This bloke isn't Gary Megson, this guy is an up coming, well respected manager.

The team he built from scratch with no money is currently 2nd in League,we somehow manged to prise him away from his club where he was adored across the club, and what does he walk into??..

A silent stadium full of moaning dickheads that boo at half time and boo substitutions...that actually change the game and one of em scores two.Bet he think up yours you dimwits tonight.....

I say if you hear anyone booing like today, pull the cunts up on it....

They cant carry on like,or else there will nobody left at Reebok bar them, and we are going to end up with a Megson type thing here...

It saddens me talking like this after a victory,it just shouldnt be like this.

Them away followings at Blackburn,Brighton,Blackpool and Huddersfield put these cunts to shame....they dont deserve to mentioned in the breath as that support.

Anyway rant over....

Sort it out....if you boo near me I'll throw you down the fucking steps.

When Mears had the ball deep in his own half, a winger breathing down his neck a couple of yards away, and only Bogdan available, to boo him for passing it back was baffling. I just want to fucking shake these fans and ask them what the fuck they wanted him to do in that situation. Utter fucking pricks.

I'm sure it was never this bad until the Megson days; now Bolton fans seem to believe they have some divine right to show their disgust whenever possible. And to think I used to laugh at clubs like Newcastle for their booing.

I almost feel inclined to email Dougie to apologise for their behaviours its getting that bad. This is a man who really was adored at Selhurst. His goal saved them from dropping to League One. He scored at Coventry to secure an unlikely play off place when they went up under Dowie. He had two lengthy spells at the club, and everything was going well for him under Palace when he joined us. One defeat in eight, after inheriting a terribly disorganised side under Coyle. He's slowly but surely turning the tide for us, I just wish these morons would show some fucking respect.

Too right gonzo lad, felt like leaving today when I heard that booing. Went down early before half time as well because I knew it would happen at the whistle and didn't want to be associated with it. What can you do, boo the booers?!

Just a set of sad twats, the feeling of emotion when we score a goal never leaves you, and i got that buzz today.

Football fans accross the board get frustrated by their team, most respond with support, and by that I mean creating an atmosphere of solidarity, lots of positive noise, was a trademark of Burnden Park, if we were below par we used to raise the roof to try and get the players going, I get the feeling we have adopted a new breed of supporter since our move to Horwich, you know the type who only had crown green bowls prior to us invading their patch, suddenly standing on Manny road listening to some owd cunt moaning seems preferable to some of the morons who frequent home games, in short, if you are not in it for the bad times as well as good, then FUCK OFF.

agree Dom

If there was supposed to be 16000 on today less say 1000 charlton fans ,then take off the 3000 diehards who go to the away games what exactly do the remaining 12000 contribute-not a lot methinks

we had a better atmosphere at burnden with 4000-whats gone wrong

so them that don't make away days don't bring anything to it,

so them that don't make away days don't bring anything to it,

Course they do, fucking know nowts, boo everything that goes awry

My thoughts are if you ain't happy stay away , but for me Bolton are a team I love always have ans always will .

they contribute season ticket money.

do you really reckon there are many glory hunters there... or 15000 fans sat in a freezing cold stadium watching a team that should be walking this league not putting any effort in.

The crowd does get going... the players don't react, there used to be a feel that when the stands got excited the players would reciprocate, half the team sem happy just to stroll around..

hence the boo'ong..

that said I didn't boo, I was too busy with my flask

buying a ticket doesnt give you the right to be a cunt.

Your right it doesn't, but the generalisation of 12000 folk don't bring anything to a game because they don't go away is fucking ridiculous

I think we are all getting a little lost as to what actually was being booed yesterday....

It was a fucking substitution!

Ani you mention the Ipswich game, yes it was shocking and at the end, people had their right to boo,we got beat.

But yesterday people booed a substitution.....not a 2-1 defeat against relegation fodder,a substitution in game that was heading for complete stalemate.

Let the man do his job, then complain afterwards.

I often hear things like 'oh it happens at every ground'....I say no,it fucking doesn't.

there must be someone on here who booed at the substitution , c'mon show yourselves

Chungy was pretty poor yesterday so taking him off was right thing to do, I think given our shit start folk are just pissed off and are booing fucking anything.

If that is true then they are just half wits then. If someone boos you would hope they actually had a reason, even a bad one, for doing it.

Freedman came up to Bolton for a big payrise, he said as much in his first interview....security for my family blah blah.A big payrise usually comes with more responsibility and stress.Coping with a more demanding public is part of that.He could have stayed at nice Crystal Palace working for their lovely, polite fans on a third the wage and a third the pressure if he wanted. He opted for the money and the stress.

It is idiotic, sheep mentality.

Too many £49 quid season tickets I think.

So because he came for a payrise it's acceptable

I've not read all the above posts, and I don't think booing serves any purpose, but fuck me it was shite until we scored.

So because he came for a payrise it's acceptable

apparently so. Demanding? Sounds more cuntish really. I'd be interested to see if these folk actually go who are commenting.

So because he came for a payrise it's acceptable

A 500k pa manager with a £30 million wage bill not beating shit like Barnsley and Ipswich at home and then being shit v Charlton for a good hour is going to get jeered.

I rest my case my lord

So you think its acceptable to boo a substitution where the manager is bringing on a striker and winger at 0-0 to try and win the game, because he gets paid more than he did at Palace??
