I think fans mentality definitely affects results. Second half of last season i thought city fans were making their team nervous at times.

 

Boro this season one nil down to us, no boos, fans, especially the scarf waving ones in the corner, really got behind them and they went on to win.

Well said, it wasn't just one or two either it was a good proportion of the stadium from the sound of it, none around me I might add. At that point I was ashamed to be in the ground and associated with our support and felt like leaving too. They should just fuck off to a Xmas pantomime. If I was freedman I'd run a mile, it's every game now and it's embarrassing.

Maybe if we get this elusive winning streak it will hopefully subside.

People say they are ashamed by our supporters shelling out money the week before Xmas.

 

People talk about getting behind the team but for last 18 months the team have constantly disappointed easy after 90 mins to say the result is all that matters but until we scored it just felt like more points drifting away.

 

Anyone who has paid to watch the game can voice their opinion on the team in whatever way they want win a few games, move up the table the support will come but to expect people to clap politely after the dross served up at home in the Ipswich game and first half today is expecting a lot.
