Butterfield was shit Tuesday, he knew it, the fans it, D.F knew it but no need to boo him today. No player in history has ever been star man every game.

Quite a few years ago I posted a thread on here after the boo boys were getting into some player, can't remember who (possibly Barness?), but it was totally uncalled for.

I asked then "booing what is the point?" and everyone took the piss for a couple of weeks on here (it was quite funny actually, I remember Zico being ringleader).

However, I do think that we would be better off without the support of people who boo players like today.

We have some of the most embarrassing fans that i've ever experienced, I'm not sure they realise the damage they do to the players' confidence. I remember being at the Crewe game pre-season and the pricks were having a go at Pratley which, to be fair, he took in good spirit yet look at him now he's one of best players.and no one would question his contribution.

You have to question someone's sanity when they would rather spend the day in Bolton town centre than go and enjoy a decent level championship football match in a state of the art stadium.

The thing is everyone I go to the game with commented on this being ridiculous and pretty much all folk on here agree. So who is it that's doing this and what goes through their heads?

I actually cannot remember a player getting booed so quickly after joining? Yes, Butterfield is shit but booing him after about 3 games? Really?

He was attrocious at Leicester but Dougie must know what the guy is capable of; he lost it Leicester and he was removed early second half before he did any more damage
