The loud cheers from the crowd, was it all solely down to Sordell coming on? Or because when LCY was subbed the crowd boo'd at a poor substitution, therefore cheering when the "right" sub was made?

I didn't hear it but he's really gone off the boil in the last 5 games or so and needs reminding that football is a fucking team game.

I took it to be support of Sordell after the bollocks the nobs in the South Stand were coming out with.

 

One of their chants I heard was Sordell was a liar. Odd when the bloke who racially abused him admitted it.

I wasnt convinced on the Chungy substitution tactically, maybe there was another reason.

First thought was why take chungy off when eagles was awful all game. Then tried to remember when the last time chungy touched the ball after 55 minutes in. Very few. Both needed replacing. However sordell needed bringing in sooner. The fish "abuse" might have driven him on. Looked interested when he came on. What was that sordell chant anyway? "Marvin Sordell is a *something* man." Couldn't work it out.

Eagles has been rubbish since for a month or so now, chungy on the other hand has been much improved and working hard and getting the odd goal here and there, the moment this team learns how to stop being rash in the box, defend better, stop smashing the ball up the pitch and keep it on the deck without fancy flicks! we might start to get somewere

Have to say that Freedmans substitutions don't seem to be the same as 90% of fans would make either the majority are wrong or he is, I'm waiting for another centre half to get fit to see what he's going to do with Knight if he continues to play him I will then know we have another clueless manager.

Coyles biggest problem was not doing like for like

 

Ie repeatedly taking of mamba and leaving no tackle in the middle

 

The way we finished yesterday with 4 forwards on was very coyle as well

Was cheering sordell but stepped it up when I found out eagles was coming off

I've been very critical of eagles in the past because he looks like a tart and played like one last year.

 

But he's proving me wrong.

 

He did ok yesterday but even when things were not going well for him he still wanted the ball and never went hiding.

 

In a stadium where we booooooo if the pies are too hot, that takes some bollocks.

 

By contrast, for central midfielders Andrews and Spesring were anonymous.

 

One of Eagles' best qualities is alway wanting the ball and not hiding but I thought he was poor yesterday

 

Decision making woeful in the main; held on to the ball far too long consistently; positioning poor, particularly when he was on the left, making Alonso's job to pick a pass more difficult; not chasing his man back; bottling at least 2 tackles....again

 

And all with an air of "I'm too good for this"

 

You get the impression he only keeps wanting it so he can fuck about with it and/or shoot, rather than because he wants to take the game by the scruff of the neck. I.e. for HIM not BWFC
