March 2, 201313 yr You've never been to Wigan or Burnley then? Yeah ....and been served quicker in both despite only going down after the half time whistle.......do that at the Reebok and you've no chance.
March 2, 201313 yr Yeah ....and been served quicker in both despite only going down after the half time whistle.......do that at the Reebok and you've no chance. Burnley? Really? Blimey.

Yes, I'm calling bullshit at this point. The only way you got served quickly at Burnley is cheat. They are fucking hopeless. I think there were three barstaff on at the opening day of the season. That's not to say the ones at Reebok are better but there's certainly a lot more of them and therefore get through a lot more customers. Things could be improved though by having half the staff pouring and the other half selling.

They weren't that quick at Burnley, I won't argue with that but they served me quicker and that was the Boxing Day game a couple of years. And to be fair, you can't really compare unless you know what it's like for the home fans at Burnley. You're right about the selling / pouring - it's just basic common sense. As is having separate sections for food and soft drinks. Yes, I'm calling bullshit at this point. The only way you got served quickly at Burnley is cheat. They are fucking hopeless. March 2, 201313 yr Blackburn ran out of ale and pies before half time. Brighton wouldn't sell ale from 2:50 till half time. Ale and food at a match are non essential purchases so they can serve what they want how they want. If you're going to by a pie you will pretty much nomatter what and the clubs treat fans with the contempt that brings.
March 2, 201313 yr The Leythers reet. If the standard of refreshments are the biggest factor in not going again then I'd suggest you've fallen out with the game.

March 3, 201313 yr Half time drink token. I've not queued for years You have to queue even with a token in North Stand. I was in the East stand for the Everton game and it was a lot better so maybe it's more of a problem in certain sections.

I know what you're saying but I never said it was the standard of refreshments which was the biggest factor in not going next season. It's the dreadful atmosphere, sitting near idiots, orange warriors etc. At least after an away game, you can find a few decent pubs after the match.
March 14, 201313 yr I see Middlesboro are offering a free pint at every match, with season tickets. Not saying we should do it, but its a bit different.
March 15, 201313 yr Blackpool are selling season tickets for £195.30 to mark the 60th anniversary of their fa cup win
March 15, 201313 yr Blackpool are selling season tickets for £195.30 to mark the 60th anniversary of their fa cup win Then they should be £19.53. We could do them for our 1923 victory to undercut them.
March 15, 201313 yr Wigan won the 2nd Division in 2003, and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this momentous achievement, they're taking 2003 fans to Wembley.
March 15, 201313 yr I wouldnt mock. We last won the cup in 1958 and out of respect are waiting 1958 years before we win owt else. Its like a depressing post from 6 weeks back. BOOOOOOO Freedman out!
March 15, 201313 yr I wouldnt mock. I just can't help myself, though. It's in my nature. I think I'm addicted to taking the piss. (So's Whitt, but he does it differently)
