Carlos Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Reet, I'm getting rid of my man-mobile with 4 wheel drive and a nice high ride for a Toyota Aygo, on the basis I only drive into Manc 3 times a week and the Aygo will do that on the money I'll save on road tax. Am I a homo? Quote
Sweep Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 If you don't use the car all that often, then you're probably doing the right thing, you'll save a fortune. You'll still look like a queer in it though Quote
MickyD Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Very much. Happy to help. You are right though. It makes sense to drive a car that will do a month's worth of miles for the same dosh as your current one uses in a week. Quote
tarian1979 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 one thing i struggle to find any interest is cars. i rarely drive ours, to the golf course thats about it. weve an 08 focus, barely done any miles as the missus work commute is about 10 miles a day round trip. Will keep that a few years until it has any problems Quote
Carlos Posted March 3, 2013 Author Posted March 3, 2013 I priced up an Aygo at 4K and an Audi A1 at 14K, no brainer really. Quote
no balls Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Yes you'll look like a pufter but I see your thinking. The one I've got is the longest I've ever owned a car, it's a gas guzzler, tax is ridiculous, but I'm not sure I'd feel safe on the motorway in something tiny like that. That's probably psychological though. At least you'll not look like a wannabe Asian gangster in yours though.... Quote

Spider Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 BMW and Audi drivers tend to be arseholes with huge personal grievances they can only seem to solve by driving like fucking imbeciles. Volkswagen drivers are all very very handsome. True dat. Quote
Sweep Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 VW drivers are generally those folk who can't afford an Audi Quote
