I didn't really rate Spearing that much up until about January, I just thought he was an average player that didn't add much. Like Pratley he has completely changed my mind in the last 3 or 4 months and I'd be very happy if we signed him up whatever league we are in.

He's been immense over this good run of form. Seems to actually know his role in the team now Sign him up

That doesn't mean he's not good enough for a newly promoted team. I don't think I could choose between Spearing or Pratters for my POTY, both have improved a ridiculous amount and have been equally important in the run that has meant we still have something to play for this season.
April 25, 201313 yr The reason we have spearing is because he's not good enough for Liverpool. Not because he's not good enough for the premiership. Our offer suited to guarantee him first team football and a good location at a premiership training outfit. He'd be one of the first names on the team sheet if we got promoted and had him. Suits both 451 and 442. Suits playing alongside Holden or pratley/medo. The only negative is he's never a corner taker in a million years and I'd hope one of our fucking wingers realised its there job to whip a ball in. (On a side note, we've fucked up every short corner we've ever had, rule #1 - get it in the fucking box)
April 25, 201313 yr Spearing is easily good enough for us in either division. Spearing and Kamara is a solid midfield pairing. Too many question marks over Holden. Get spearing in. It seems he wants to be here and I don't think he would cost too much.

April 25, 201313 yr Spearing's passing is limited, usually to his own team mates. Not a bad thing. We started winning when Andrews stopped playing. Davies, sadly, will be another Holden or Wheater, very long lay off then questions whether he'll be the same as before.
